Dear LRE,
Can you please tell as to the requirement of cutting in the corner plots under DHA Bye laws and whether the plot area is reduced as a result of cut/chamfere on the corner or DHA uses its own space outside the plot area?
Thanking you in anticipation. Baba replied on Monday, June 2, 2014 12:08 PM

The requirement for some cutting on front of the plot is also true for almost all societies including corner and non corner but comparatively somewhat more for a corner at the junction of roads. Also, it's true that corner plots usually have few marlas extra area given away at cheap basic rate by the society. This is applicable in DHA, Bahria Town and many other housing also. This is usually some space is left at the time of actual demarcation of a lane of plots which is allocated to the corner plots at the basic society rates generally well below the per marla market rates. |
