In lahore I notice no one has been trained for driving, since peoples are driving from last 20 years and they proudly think with that much of time period on the road no one can say that they are not experienced driver BUT Sorry to Say they are still not. Beep cause they have not gone to driving school to learn the proper driving. No one knows Right OF Way of others. No indicators are used before making turn. Ricksha, Motorcycle, and Bicycle are slow moving Vehicles they suppose not to be allowed in fast lane but who cares, all the drivers of such vehicles take their safety as granted and change the lanes the way they want, without.
People merges into fast lane or into main roads with speed of 10 to 15 without knowing that someone coming behind with speed of 60 to 70 will have very hard time to save him. Beam light is a major problem in the night which makes you totally BLIND but it has become normal practise to use those light. Friends are requested to please address these traffic issues for the awareness of those who think they are driving perfectly.
Allah Bless to all and Pakistan.

Actually, its same like in every part of Pakistan. I have been driving car in Pakistan for around 10 year. In Australia, I had to take 10 lessons and after 3 driving test attempts. after that I was able to get full license here. |

Dear It was not only Lahore but seems to me the national trade mark that everyone is BLIND. I just came back from ISB to LHR on motorway and 95% vehicles were on High beam. My children really wondered and asked me what those drivers were trying to find on the road? |

I do stop my car if it is safe to do so and then raise my hand to tell the driver to put your High Beam down for God sake some do and other thinks I am fool. Same way some time I raise hand quite high and Blink my finger to make indicator that your High Beam is bothering me, peoples do accept my request but if he is a car owner, the drivers are always illiterate and they make issue of their Eggo and do not turn down. Please keep using your efforts and don't give up so one day they will learn how to drive. |
