I moved from UK to Pakistan, my elder daughter was exempted from Urdu on the basis of dual nationality, islamyiat was in English so we covered that in O level, for my younger daughter I simply told the principal that we were from UK so they just took admission test in Maths and English etc and I told them in time we will catch up on Urdu, also the school put her on easy Urdu in the class knowing she did not know Urdu, there are a lot of expats in Pakistan so most of the schools understand the situation ( private English medium) I'm not sure if other schools do the same, hope my post helps |
