Dear Respected Investors Members
I have decided to buy in DHA and now need clarity on below.
I have only funds in Dollar Account in AL FALAH Bank Lahore. The required amount is USD 100,000 approx
I need to purchase while sitting in UAE, so what should be the best mode of payment. I mean how I can pay in PKR as funds in my USD ACCOUNT in Lahore.
Secondly what documents are required for DHA transfer like Passport, Visa and Work Permit, any Pics etc.
I do not have any trusted relative and friend in Lahore so that option is not available.
Dear LRE team / CMY due to such situations many of our expat friends do not able to invest so please advise modality and I strongly recommend for having LRE office at Dubai. {especially when Dubai property lost value 8-12 percent in last 12 months}

!!! $$$ > DO NOT TRUST !!! 1) Have LRE arrange the required property for you. 2) Send token money to LRE (Send money by Wire and wait for it to get clear). 3) Take few days off from work and head to Lahore. 4) Close the deal and come back. Cheers!!! |

For DHA Transfer issue get Help from LRE directly, If any of you family member with copy of your ID and Picture can be present in Lahore a property can be Purchased in DHA in you name. For Banking issue Best Thing is make party agree to receive the Amount in Dollar and you can safely transfer the Money to party By Cheque as Pay order will not work in this case the only thing the DD Can be made for the party but in case of any issue will be quite difficult to get cancelled. Other party may also not agree. The other option is Goto some main money exchange office where Alflah Branch is also near tell them you want to change $ 1 Lac plus money set with them rate, after wards let their agent come in Bank with money he will take Cheque of Dollar and get it Cashed and will deposit money in your Rupee Account. If they deposit Cheque in Your account it is better but it should be cheque of same bank [ immediately recognized] by the bank as amount is big so there can be issues. Tax authorities can ask you the source of that 1 Cror but If 1 Lac Dollar was foreign remittance then you are safe as changing money is legal in Pakistan. |

Dear Jamleel Shb and Moin Sb appreciate your feedback. You can understand the situation expats face. I really envy my Indian colleagues who have so very many facilities as NRI. Secondly there is very minimal Gunda Gardi, Badmashi, Kuntutta pana, Wadairaism in India as Land reforms happened there and Judiciary and Police safeguard interest much better as compared to here.... Indians have so many property/real-estate shows coming to UAE giving them opportunities.....But let us lookm at positive side ....due to prolonged dictator ships Army got so strong...n hence came into creation DHA ...the one and only safe investment option for Paki diaspora |

Dear Khaksar, I have Opposite experience, Here my friend from Calcutta is having the issues that is why he is making property in Pune, These properties which we discuss here are mostly fraud free, Thanks GOD I can say 9 out of 10 regulated properties in Lahore are free of these issues, Better avoid Patwar Khana and Non LDA regulated areas, of Course DHA is the best. Invest with full Confidence. But if you are so much worried I would Advised you be present at least at time of Transfer for 2 days. Keep in mind most of DHA properties are done by Token and Full Payment and there are only minimal issues. Better avoid Biana as Price change or better offer may compel seller to exploit your overseas status. |

@khaksar I live in UAE Indians face exactly the same issues that we face they have issues with police, local political gangs and on top of it .... severe hindu / muslim issues .....where hindus of one's area take over the land of muslims .... I wonder why you started complaining about Pakistan and started showing your love for India ..... talk to indian muslim and open your eyes |

@Khaksar, the better option is to convert your money into rupees through bank and they will transfer these money into your rupees account. Don’t go for money exchangers. Just Bank Al-falah DD account to Bank Al-falah rupess account on current rate. It’s very simple and if you have a rupess account in same branch that’s even better. |
