Only 51 Billion Rupees allocated for Roads infrastructure for the whole province.

What would be for LRR project by Punjab government ? Will it be 100% privately invested/funded ?

Any Thoughts, please share

But who will purchase/compensate the land required? it requires billions... Dont tell me that it is already done :). may be govt purchased partial chunks. but major chunks still needs to b purchased. i dont think this land acquisition to be privately funded.

By 30 June i guess all bids must reach to LRRA..

When will be bid opening ? same date ?

And contract award i dont think so will happen very quick. it may takes few weeks or months for LRRA to study and award the winning bidder.

Just my thought. When you are forseeing the work to be started ? By 2015 end ? and will all three packages to be done simultaneously or stage wise??

Sir Orange line will be majorly funded by Chinese Axim Bank. as far as i have the knowledge. i dont know the exact formula b/w punjab govt and chinese investor.

Punjab govt's bid invitation documents clearly mention it will provide the party with 90 meters "right of way" i.e. land acquisition, throughout the 30 km road. Interestingly the ring road plans shared on this site a few days ago showed 120 meters right of way throughout the road. So either those plans were wrong or outdated, or this bid invitation document is incorrect.

@Shahzad,

Brother allocating money in budget doesn't mean that money is in the pocket of CM or punjab govt and they are ready to spend it. Budget indicates projections and predicitions of their incoming revenues, investments or foreign exchange down the coming year...

it actually mean Punjab govt sees that it will be able to arrange that much funds this year and will be able to spend on this project, that way they allocates it to different programs at the start of fiscal year.. this plan is called BUDGET

It is being built on BOT Basis..... Build..operate and earn spending and transfer to Punjab Govt...
