What do you mean by cutting? Lower cutting and upper cutting?

If You see a map layout Upper Cutting is Upper on Your screen usually North and lower is usually south [Though not 100% Correct]
New Cuttings means when initial map is revised few lines are added these are called new Cuttings usually are distant and take time to develop and are cheaper

Is that universally true Jameel Bhai? Because in the case of Phase 7- Phase W I have heard "upper cutting" referred to as being closer to the golf course, which would make it west, and "lower cutting" would be east.
