Yes, this should be sorted legally and justly, and which I hope it will be.

But some people are just trying to create a storm in a tea cup.
Don't worry too much about this. DHA is a reputable name.

Ayaz Mir has traced the history honestly. Honestly.the fact is that none of us who have something to do with real estate only trust DHA.
Few days back some one asked me about Eden Scheme in Islamabad; I advised him to donate 5.3 Million to some deserving family and buy a home in the heaven.
Ayaz Mir may be right but with the current environments in Pakistan, DHA,FAZIA and Bahria are the only trusted brands.
On the sidelines, these projects have a great welfare value for all the beneficiary including Shuhadas.
I also have faith in the strict accountability of the Army. The system has no loopholes where undue and unauthorized benefits are taken by anyone and get away with it.

I think anyone have bad mouth about our Army, either he is patwari (pml-n), Raw, mqm or PPP ....
Only corrupt will support corrupt Politician.. don't malign our Army as the only institute that we respect and trust ..
Secondly don't you ever compare our Army men with cowards like Indian army ..

It is not all Army's fault, our civilian organizations are so full of corruption giving a natural advantage to army run societies whom people could trust. Just look at the china cuttings that went on in Karachi.

By the way there was an interesting news in 2012 regarding application of Indian Army chief for exchange of his non-corner plot with corner which was REJECTED by the Haryana Chief Minister. Karam Sb I think Yeh doob Marnay ka maqam hay Govt kay liyay... There is no single credible Govt housing scheme for public. It is a either Public sector where MR is dominant or Armed Forces backed housing societies which people trust. This is the lack of credibility of our political system that people don't trust politicians with their hard earned money. It is true Armed Forces worldwide don't run Housing ventures like DHA, but then Where Is the role of Govt. It Is only the weakness of Govt which is bring fulfilled by Armed Forces. Somebody has to satisfy the housing needs of 6th most populous country in the world.
