Aoa,

It would be of great help if you can please answer my query.

I purchased a plot in Fazaia on my last trip to Pakistan. The Transfer letter is now received at my home address in Lahore.

The letter says that
"AHQ reserves the right to cancel/alter the location and dimension of plot until physical possession is handed over to the allottee. No construction will be permitted unless development is completed and physical possession is handed over to you."

I am really confused, why would they add this statement in the letter considering I purchased a plot in Phase 1 and possession is already available there?

Dont worry, its routine clause. Normally its applicable when plots are not developed. Once society is developed & possession is given, this clause become irrelevant

Moreover, after the purchase was signed, I realized the there were a large number of mistakes in the document. For example, in the affidavit by seller "Phase 2" was mentioned instead of Phase1. Same mistake was also repeated one more time.
Should I be worried about that?
Details on the allotment letter are correct.

Thanks a lot for your help.

I Think you need to take PHYSICAL POSSESSION your earliest, Apply for that ASAP. Once you get Possession then this Clause Becomes irrelevant, Be Clear Allotment letter and possession letter are different things, Once you get Possession the actual dimensions of plot May be Different but mostly they are same as stated in Allotment letter Unless it is Boundary plot.

Overseas

@Akmal,
@Jameel,

Thanks for your feedback. I will apply for physical possession asap. I hope my father can apply it on my behalf.

Moreover, can you please also shed some light on the other issue. Property dealer made some mistakes in the affidavits that I submitted. For example phase 2 was mentioned instead of phase 1. I was just hoping that Fazaia will not object and they did not.

Now I have the allotment letter of phase 1 with correct block number and plot number. Should I be worried about mistakes in submitted documents.

@ Overseas Regarding "phase 2 was mentioned instead of phase 1". I think That should Not be a problem but it is serious Mistake Check You Allotment letter again what is mentioned there , all other Documents are Not needed,
Each housing have different Rules i think in most Cases your relative an get Possession on you behalf but you need to Give him special Power of Attorney [Just For Purpose of getting this possession]
General Power of Attorney should be avoided.

Ring Road will cut Fazaia in half & there is an interchange on Addaplot at Raiwind Road, make sure your plot is not effected by the Ring Road.
