Assalam-o-Alaikum,

Could anyone tell how much it cost to construct 10-Marla single storey house in Bahria Town Lahore?

Any rough estimate would be fine.

Just a rough idea, it would cost Rs.35 to Rs.40 Lac.

Aoa bro i just got estimate for construction of 10 marla at fazaia housing.For A 1 costruction contracter gave me bid 2500 rs per sq feet now you van multiply at ypur end that how much covered area you want to have

Hello,

Simplest way to estimate the cost is by figuring out the covered area of the house. Roughly, Bahria town complete 10 marla house has 3300 to 3600 square foot, plot it self is 2275 and ground floor covered area excluding lawn , porch , side and back passage way will be approximately 1350 to 1500 sqft. The rough cost per sqft will be 1700 to 2200 PKR depending on type of finish you are considering for your house. Once you have obtained your site plan you can multiple sqft by per sqft cost that will give you an estimate. Most importantly, cost of material and labor will be the determining factors.

I can share my experience. I started building my house after doing contract with my brother that i will give money to him for supervision. Then i provided my self all material and labour was hired.they started construction and in 4 monthsgreay structure is ready. For me cost till finishing will be 1600 to 1800 per square feet with money i will give for supervision.

so if we have a 5 marla plot......can we make a complete house, with all the fittings and paint and other luxuries for around 40 lacs?

Khan sahib 5 marla can easily be completed well below your 40 lac estimate. As with 10 marla that I explained the covered area, your 5 marla will have roughly 1700 to 1900 sqft covered area. Again you can calculate cost such as given above per sqft with total covered sqft and you will get an estimated cost. There are several construction qualities that you can select from such as A+ to C grade finish. A+ will cost around 2200 where as B 1800 and C 1500 PKR.
