No construction penalty in DHA 6 , 83,000 per year looks unjustified, As In DHA 3 20 years after expiry of Constriction grace period this charge was escalated to 55,000 in in 2010. Earlier charges were nominal soon after DHA phase 4 and 5 Charges were also increased. It is Unjust to charge same rate for Phase 1 and Phase 6.

dha is now following in Bahria Town Footsteps. i think main purpose to make the plot holders to think for house construction or make money as thousands of are vacant in phase 5,6 and 7.

now prices will decline as investors will pull out soon

You are right saima! This will also show the real "Supply and Demand" rule. If the plots are bought by the investors. Then technically plot stays in the market. Actual buyers are usually the one who wants buy a plot and build a house.

It is Two edge sword, In case of Bahria 4,5 years Back I expected the same but in fact prices increased when more construction was seen, However that also coincides in 2011 to 13 price Boom.
Houses are usually Built by 3rd or 4th Generation buyers. I myself think one should pay the dues and watch. And Some how put the pressure on DHA. Yes that is right if some one is not building 20 years after possession like in case of Phase 1 to 4 that can be justified but for Phase 6 which is just nascent and community is trying to strive this is very much unjustified.

its a matter of perception
yes investment is good, but eventually the purpose of plot is to build a house. either u make one, or sell it to someone who has money to build one
