i wanna invest 3 million for two years. please suggest where should i buy a residential plot.

if you can travel to multan and can hold investment 2-3 years then dha multan file is best in 3 million

Usman bhai he is talking about plot not File. Secondly Multan file is a shaky Investment there is a profit in this file but with a lot of RISK. If this file reached ballot than there is a Chance that it drop to a lowest level of his history. So Becarefull while purchasing Multan.
Best and safe Investment that will gain is a Prism.

Prism also rose to 67 before ballot n now bad location plots can be found at as low as 55 (even after confirmation that prism will be a gated community).

So dha multan file will be at 32-34(since the files to be included in ballot are the ones alloted till 31 January) then plots will begin to be available from 20 lac. If one is lucky enough, he may b able to get excellent locatiom n sell it in 40+ 20 dev charges!

My extrapolations seeing the previous dha trends and also considering multan factor! No offence to the investors there n wish them all that they all get excellent locations(special prayers for angry young man that he get excellent location in dha multan and his R block prism skyrockets)

DHA Multan will be a good investment without a doubt. Look at the prices of WAPDA Town Multan wherein one kanal plot is from 80 -150 lacs. DHA with its brand name is far better. The location of DHA also gives it and advantage being in the area where there are educational institutions. Further, Multan is a regional hub with number of people in the area work in middle east apart from local people who have money. Therefore, I do not see any negative in DHA Multan investment over medium to long term horizon, however in short term any outcome is possible.

Wapda town has reached its peak value and will be stagnant for coming years.dha multan will reach its peak when it is ready to build house which may take a decade or so. So think of waiting very long term that prices would surpass wapda town prices!

Secondly, overseas even from southern Punjab region want to build their sweet home in future in lahore n do not prefer multan for future living. I can buy such argument that these overseas may want to keep one 5 Marla secondary house in multan so that they can live there when they come to meet relatives in the region but not 1 kanal houses fulfil the need. In near future, Bahria town in multan or dha multan having smaller sized plots will serve such a purpose
