Dear LRE Staff & forum experts - I am new investor...trying to learn a few things from the experts here.

What are the pros and cons of buying a pair of 1 kanal plots vs. a single 2 kanal plot in DHA Lahore?

Is one option better than the other?

If the location is similar, is the COST pretty much the same?

Any special costs, fees, or building restrictions with a pair of 1 kanal plots?

My thought was that a single 2 kanal is probably better because you will typically be surrounded by all 2 kanal plots.

Your thoughts and comments on this topic are much appreciated.

In DHA 2 plots together will be expensive than 2 plots located separately. But 2 kanal single plot will be expensive bcz of very less number of plots.

Regarding pairs These plots are occasionally available, as you know file ballot is random so impossible, Only to Land Owner at their request plots are given sometimes in Lines. So soon after ballot you may find.
DHA does not allow duplex in 2 kanal any more [in phase 2 and 1 it happened occasionally], they don't allow yo split 2 Kanal into 2, they don't allow to make one house on two adjacent Kanal pair of Plots [but this can be asked]
If you want 2 kanal House in DHA buy a standard plot, If you are two brothers you my buy a pair of one Kanal each and even you can open door is sharing wall from behind.
Builders sometimes buy oblong ,samosa or square plots cheaper than market and take special permissions based upon the abnormal dimensions. Make two portions but have to sell as one unit, Buyer can utilize it like one potion for rent or two brothers one each.
