Dear CMY/LRE & Experts,
I need your help in making the right choice.
I have recently built a 10M house in Bahria Town Lahore (Janiper Block) for myself to move from UK however there are some change in plans and I can't move for few more years so need some advice from experts
Q1: What is the worth of A+ executive class 10 Marla house (5 bedrooms with attach baths, tv lounge, drawing room, breakfast area, powder room) in Janiper, Bahria Town, Lahore (near Beaconhouse school/Grand mosque) if plan to sell it?
Q2: Is it good decision to sell it (which is my current tentative plan)? Or rent it out for the time being and sell it in couple of years time so that can reap the benefits of ring road etc. (if any)
Q3: If I rent it out, how much I can get?
Q4: Suppose if you advise to sell this out then what is the best place to re-invest the whole amount so that I can have sufficient funds when I have definite plan to move in few year's time (5 year Max)?

Instead of renting just sell it. Overseas renting will destroy your house. |

You should rent it ONLY if someone in Pakistan is available to visit/look after the property on regular intervals |

Kindly dont rent it, People here whom you rent to; They will destroy your house in a year time, you wouldn't be able to recognise your house interior after one year they did with my brother house. That stupid guy was working in the British Council Lahore he destroyed all house badly and went. Best Option is Sell it.

I was in the same situation few years ago. I decided to rent out my house and faced many issues with tenants although my brother-in-law was there to look after it. He visited the house regularly and took a very good care of everything. The house was ruined by the tenants in 3-4 years. I decided to sell it off in 2014 and invested the amount in DHA. |
