still they look far from reality, people are saying for last 7 years but doest noy look technically possible as LRR may not allow and on other side phase 5 A block have no provision to accept any road from this side as there are houses.
Again Nawaz sherif interchange is just 2 KM away so need of this is also questionable, Technically no such underpass is possible until part of LRR is rebuilt, So far in road structures there is nothing like Underground Tunnel, as minimum width of 2.5+2.5 Lanes like 70 feet is needed. |

Some credible reports suggest that the underpass has been approved. The reason it was not constructed until now is the lack of a need for it. Phase 5 M-block possession is nearing and so is the need for the underpass. I was told that Punjab government was not approving it due to the fact that its construction would impact the ring road traffic. However, now i am told that the approval has been given. Once the construction starts, it will be quick to minimise disruption for the ring road. Lets see what the construction will initiates. |

If you google the map of phase 5 you will see 2 small black lines on the ring road area between block A and C; that is where it is expected to be constructed and that provides direct access near the main road of Phase 5 so it seems right to me. |

underpass is need of the hour and will connect phase 5 to M extension and prism. it will start beside the chohan estate chowk in phase 5 |

even i have my own plot in phase 5 block M. But i dont think we will ever get underpass. there will be an alternate.
does anybody update us when we can expect possession.

Dha management is not silly and irrational. this underpass is inevitable for phase 9 prism and phase 10(currently 9 extension). phase 5 M block is never their concern for which they planned this underpass. they will give accesses to prism and phase 10 via this underpass. let the prism main roads get some shape in a year or two the underpass will be constructed importunately. |
