My office colleague just came back from Askari Bank DHA branch where there was a huge line till outside the bank for submitting forms for the lucky draw.
A person there claimed to have deposited nearly 1000 applications alone till now for the draw (for his boss).
Another person claimed to have deposited 500, with the last set of 50 in his hand which he intended to deposit today !!
Am not sure how many other such crazies have gambled on this lottery. But I think the total number of applications received against these 250 plots must have exceeded a couple of hundred thousand by now (end of application time).
With this kind of response from public, I bet DHA marketing team would be thinking about more of such lotteries in future (a large non-refundable amount like this time) to make the maximum amount of money. DHA after all is a profit making company and they are not in the business for charity. I would be extremely surprised actually, if their marketing team doesn't take cue from such kind of response for their future projects.
