usually raiwind area real estate gave a reasonably cheaper option to have plots/homes for middle class
Now with recent price surge in these areas, price gap in DHA and raiwind area has reduced.
so where can people invest/ buy now in lahore (on ground) if they dont have sufficient funds??

Just don't discount the heavy pollution from the factories all along the Ferozpur Road and the from the heavy truck traffic on it.
In developed countries people usually avoid industrial locations due to health effects |

On Ferozpur Road the more you go towards Kasur side the more polluted is underground water because of high Chromium contents from Tanneries wastewater discharge. For so many years Tanneries have been discharging their wastewater (containing very high Chromium) without treatment. |

just taste the water from filter plant...
talk to people living there(are they happy with the facilities & security etc) and then decide.
please keep in mind that the traffic on Raiwind road side will not be same when all these societies get populated, I am not saying Ferozpur road is better than Raiwind road side but just considering cost and benefits |

I myself will focus more on ferozepur road side...just for R&D ... and figure out which society gives better value for money.
If LRE could prepare an excel sheet comparison of all such Lahore areas with scoring for below factors
- schools
- environment
- public transport
- proximity to major road infrastructure
- commercial activities
- quality of life
- traffic issues
- litigation
just thinking loudly. |
