Over the last few months Prism prices have increased considerably and a much higher activity was seen. Some sectors have seen much bigger gains which were probably beyond market expectation. Now market is consolidating and no quick upward trend is observed in upper blocks like A, C, D, E, F, G and upper cutting of M. Friends saying due to too fast price escalation of these blocks but I would humbly differ to their viewpoint. Current market sluggish trend is due to big supply of plots in above mentioned areas.

If you look the plot share as indicated in the above table is very small except from C & M. But if you look now what is available in the market from mere percentage of army plots you can imaging what’s happening. Price is simple dynamism of demand and supply. I believe this new availability of army service benefit plots were balloted in last few months and coming to market in huge numbers will keep the market feeling dampened until these plots reached to ultimate investors (medium or long term). After this supply is dried out then again upward trend will start to emerge.
