I am leaving in USA.We want to purchaze one house in DHA or Bahria Town lahore, 10 marla newly built.
My husband is very busy man.He asked me to visit Pak first and have a good reaserch.Can anybody answer these questions;
1-Should we build our own house or purchase already built house by private contracotor.
2-Contractor are professional in Pak Technically and financily.
3-How much extra they will take. (their profit)

Suggest me any good house Contracotor name/group.

AOA,you can't trust on them ,there are very few people who are honest.If you bought new house you will be surprised by cosmetic thinks but you don't know about concealed things e.g foundation,wires and pipes inside the walls,cement and sand ratio,roof etc.Hence be carefull .Everybody here want to become millionaire overnight.

I am also a non-resident Pakistani & will like to advise you based on my personal experience.
1. Constructing a house while your family is settled abroad, will be really painful task, lot of dependence upon others, lot of wastage of time and money. I had my house completed in 2014 but it took the double of time which it should normally take & dealing with contractors etc. was agonizing.
2. Buy a newly constructed house but get it inspected by any professional 3rd party for any possible hidden defects as pointed out by Choudry.

Mr. Choudry and Khalid Javaid rightly pointed out the issues that should be considered before making the decision.consider these.
purchase from the trusted contractor or builder. enquire about his reputation from the market. visit his earlier built houses and sold. better to exchange words who purchased earlier. you can enquire from the neighbours about the quality of materials used. hire a technical person to evaluate the built house. if you want in Bahria 10 marla you can visit the newly constructed house cornor in front of akhtar saeed medical college. mr. shafique () builds and sale. the deal can be done through LRE as they know him.

You can have a look at Zaamin villas at Fazaia Lahore. Payment is in installments and construction standard is reasonably good.

1st Tip: Avoid telling everyone & real estate agents that you are from abroad. This will save from you lots of trouble.
2nd Tip: Don;t rely on single estate agent.
3rd Tip: LRE can evaluate all properties in Bahria & DHA, so do check with them.

Mam,
While you visit Pakistan, do visit "Dream Garden" Defense Road. Almost all their build houses are purchased overseas... A very good society with compact environment. Construction Masters of M/s Izhar Construction are the partner of this project.

Do visit before taking decision.
