Salam everyone,

I need to get a general idea of the plot prices at the moment. How much decline there has been since the taxes and is it a good time to invest?

I have got either Prism or Bahria Orchard in mind and I can invest between 3 to 5 million depending on the deal in front.

Do you guys think prices have stablized now or there is a chance of further decline?

1 kanal for 80 lacs

Can I get a 1 kanal plot for 80 in DHA? Want to build house in next 3-6 months.

I am sharing my personal experience that I had few weeks back in Lahore. First of all thanks to 1122 service they reached within 10 minutes. Unfortunately we were not able to find a free ventilator in any hospitals that we checked. I pray for safety of all but reality is GOVT has put all of us on ventilator. Huge investment on roads but nill for schools, hospitals, play grounds. It seems that we ve to arrange a personal ventilator if one can afford to meet this challenge & if required visit hospital with own ventilator. It will cost 10 to 12 lac, a normal one. We all ve old family members at home. اللہ سب کو خیریت سے رکھے The astonishing thing is that not a single embulance in Lahore is equipped with ventilator. During transfer of patient they use oxygen & manual pumps.

I am in Pakistan, a student, just received a US check of about 10,000 USD. I am a freelancer and worked online to earn money. Now this is the payout. Check arrived to me directly from Seattle, Washington.

Banks are asking me to open foreign currency account but require business proof or salary slip. I have my online freelance slips and statements, but they say they are not accepted and you cannot have an account opened.

I am left high and dry and these local banks are literally asking me to dispose of that check and much hard earned money of about a million rupees. Ridiculous.

Please someone have a solution guide me. PLEASE.

There are many good B and C Class areas which worth investment. As every one cant be accommodated in handful of A Class Societies in Lahore, But I tell you fact that A Class societies are leaders in price race. Gains in B and C Class are Demands just In Comparison, Like When Valencia was 40 IEP was 20 when Valencia was 60 IEP was 30 only in 2015 equation Changed. Type B and C Class Societies are not good to make home due to reason that construction cost is same in A or C Class hence after getting a cheaper plot you are confused many years should I spend Money in Making home. Same is true with bad Locations any where. B and C class Societies are very Tough to sell and there is Monopoly of few dealers.
However These Low Cost Societies are good for Those who have less budget in Hand and due to limited Budget they Make Home in Steps sometimes these steps are 5 to 10 years apart,

There are Many options all are not Fool proof and Qabza free,

Canal Gardens
Inmol
Audit and Account 2
Formaintes Possession area only

"I want to buy one kanal plot which is better for 2-3 years investment DHA phase 7 or DHA phase 9?

In 120 lacs you will get a weak location in DHA7 and a very decent location in Prism DHA 9.



If you want to build a house in DHA7 in next 2 years go for only DHA7. If goal is to earn more over 3 years or more go for Prism. Both equally safe.



Only possession dont warrant paying extra money if intent is growth only. Yes it make sense if plan is to make house. Please also keep in mind you will pay new Punjab govt tax on empty plot and also will pay non construction penalty for possession plots in future for just keeping for investment only. Please also keep in mind Prism was highest gainer in past 5 to 7 years due to superb location ad DHA 7 was slowest gainer in same period in entire DHA in same period.

Only possession dont increase prices location is what is most important. DHA7 have possession started in some blocks more than 2 years ago but prices rose more in Prism due to location that proves my point.
