The eligibility scope has also been widened to include 10 marla residential plots, moving up from the previous 5 marla restriction. The government’s ambitious target is to finance 500,000 houses over the next four years, backed by a monumental 321 billion PKR subsidy. This roadmap begins with 5,000 units in the 25-26 budget, scaling up to 2 lakh units by 2028.

For Lahore Real Estate stakeholders, the process is streamlined: loans are processed without bank fees for plots in NOC-approved areas like DHA Lahore or LDA-approved private societies. Beyond individual housing, this package is designed to stimulate over 50 allied industries, aiming to push the national GDP growth rate toward 5 percent.
