Can CMY or other knowledgeable people please shed light on the current situation of housing market. How is the demand these days and for what size houses. If a society wise update can be given this will be helpful.

CMY mentions that there is a recession these days, is this also applicable to the housing sector? Various newspaper articles say that demand levels are very high and supply still is quite short, elaborate reply will be appreciated.

I am hearing some news from the sources that soon there would be annual meeting at State Life 2 and they are taking final decision to convert 1 Kanal to 14 Marlas.

Your information looks outdated. DHA Multan is running at bullet train speed and Bahawalpur at Pakistan railway speed.Nearly 60 of drainage work is done in A block of DHA Multan. If they keep moving with this speed Multan will leave even prism. I would request you to look back again on progress side of both projects to make decision.

zahid i am supporter of DHA multan but this approach by multan to develop block wise phase.1 without plot balloting shall hurt the investments. as after A development surely they will ballot and only very few files will get plot numbers remaining will have to wait i dont know how many years. They should first release map and ballot all existing phase.1 files then they can handover block by block. this way undeveloped plots shall also gain excellent rise. but block by block development shall hurt file holders

I think they are working on at least 3 blocks; A,B & C with a total area of more than 1000 acres. This should accommodate more than 5000 files. And its quite a decent number to please majority of file holders.
Plus the dha multan villas are already under construction as Zahid shared the imagery few days back.

So a good size of high rolling inventory will be there in the market.
