I am a retired teacher and currently living in USA.I can't travel to pakistan due to some immigration.I want to invest some money in lahore real estate market with the help of my brother in pakistan on long term for my childrens.I heard that dha is the only society that offer you the option to buy while you overseas.and you can sign the documents whenever you come to pakistan (no time period).please guide me the basics of buying property in dha.I know its a very childish question for you but for me its a big question because buying first time for all my lifelong hard earned money.all detailed answers will really appreciated.thanks

CMY Sahib ! Allah Bless You , this site is blessing for oversea Pakistanis. I am from Maine USA . I bought a file of Dha 9 in 2008. This have an old Pakistani address.That i need to change now to receive an intimation letter from DHA after ballot.
My question is;

1- How can I apply change of Address while living in USA. Can I apply on line for that?
2- What document I needed for support?
3- How can I verify if has been changed.I might have done it 2009 but not sure.

AOA, I have a 1 Kanal file(Allocation of plot letter) for DHA phase 9. Happy to learn from my friend for balloting on May 15. DHA has my old address of Pakistan. What is the best way to send them my latest address so they could inform me about ballot result. Tried phone call and also email but was unable to each DHA. Please advise.

I have a possession plot of 1 Kanal in Statelife Phase 1 and I need to sell it because I don't need to make a house there and want to reinvest in DHA only. Do you think I should wait a little more after phase 9 ballot? or you think it won't make any significant difference to Statelife on ground plots in phase 1? Lahore Ring Road and link between Bahria Sector E and C

If LRR passes through Rafi block Bahria Town as shown in the map at LRE then will there be an underpass or overhead bridge to connect sector E and F to Sector C, sector B and sector D? I hope some knowledgeable person explain it in detail. Also what about investment in Sector E in current situation when LRR is still not finalized?

Should we proceed to invest or we should wait for LRR route finalization?

Since CMY is overwhelmed with so much Qs this moment of time, though still awaiting his opinion, I would seek valuable opinions across the board here from respectable participants for my following Q:-
Going to construct a small house on my 6M plot near Drs.' Hospital Johar Town, Lahore where I've to stay 4 to 5 months each year visiting Pakistan as I'm recently retired in USA; need my own place in Lahore. I was on way to travel to start construction just in 2 weeks time when yesterday I got the news of Ph-9 balloting where I have 2 files of 1K each (investment). Now after balloting I've to pay the development charges though in installments whereas I need money to continue the construction of my house as well.Funds for the proposed house construction are already available.
Should I go for the construction as planned, postpone it, wait for the ballot, and use the money for the development charges or what?
Will appreciate discussion and proper advice please.

9 Town 5 Marla plot Prices

Dear friends,
In my opinion people who have plots in 9 town should hold their plots and wait till possession as the prices will rise from 5 to 8 lacs of good location plots. Presently good location plots of 5 Marla are already in price range from 53 lacs to 58 lacs.
In my opinion as CMY has indicated that possession is in 60 days 9 town market will be fast in coming days and plots of 5 Marla will easily touch 65 lacs. I know lot of my builder friends who are waiting for possession and after this they will start building houses. If any one wants to sell plot best time 3 or 4 days before possession. Rest God knows better.

Wanna ask that I'm in possession of an allocation letter of a 5M plot in DHA phase 9 proper issued by DHA lahore but have not deposited (Membership + Misc charges= 37080/- Rs).
