God help Pakistan

I applied for a 100 page passport in Lahore Garden Town Office. Due to EID and Independence holidays, I was told that it will take about 20 calendar days... Unacceptable as i had to travel urgently. Met an agent outside the office, he asked 6000 Rupees and I got the passport the second day ... Incredible ... It means that passports can actually be delivered within 2 days if system work efficiently.

I did not want to pay these people but I think the system is creating so many (apparently avoidable) delays for public that they are automatically diverted to these backdoor ways and the "extra" cash keeps on flowing for all people involved, from top to bottom... They have stopped renewing passport for 10 years now, its only five years validity starting 1st of June, another point that strengthens my point stated above...

God help Pakistan ...!!!

AOA, same happen with me in foreign, month before i got renewed for my kids for 10 years, 2nd june i submit my passport for renewal 10 year delivery date was 2nd Aug 2013, when i received it was renewed for five years, i complained to vice counciler passport, he replied me that this is the first gift of new government, immidiately Dua came from my heart ya allah save us from, zalim, ghasib and munafiq rulers inshallah aameen thumma aameen, other matter, paid 500 billion Rs. to IPP but Pak nation did not get any relief, what is this going on in our beloved country, where are those people of PML-N
who were saying this is due to PPPP, that time ch shujat said if punjab contribut 50 billion Rs his share this problem can be resolve, but now the gov. paid 500 billion Rs. still Pak nation is facing 16 hrs load shedding, it mean all political game there is sufficient generation in pak, you can say more than requirement, but it is a game of forced load shedding, but watch how the Bureau cracy
turn the people attention by saying lion losses, theft and weak distribution system, lanna thullah alkazibeen.
Vice Counciller was right that they dont want you take off from lines and provide you relief. pleas who ever reads say prayer that yallah
save us from cruel and munafiq rulers. aameen thum aameen.

For God's sake, please spare Pakistan at least on day of its creation. We start blaming Pakistan for any small personal thing that happen to us. As a citizen of this beautiful country, unfortunately, we have developed a habit of blaming the country for everything. The people living in all third world countries are facing same problems. Corruption is everywhere in third world including developed countries. India is much bigger than us viz-a-viz size, population and resouces and their instituations are much more corrupt than us. The European countries which we admire and love have developed their society after struggle of hundreds of years. If every Pakistani look into mirror and decide not to be part of any wrong doing I am sure our society and country will drastically change for good.

MAM - I do not see any reason to worry if passport's validity is reduced from 10 years to 5 years. All GCC countries issue passports for 5 years only and Pakistan is not an exception. Why to blame Pakistan for that ?

Please love your country and learn from people who are without any land. Imagine the sufferings of people who do not have any country. Instead of blaming Paksitan for everything, thank Good who blessed you with country and home to live and you are not among those millions of millions countryless people.

A munfaiq has mainly three bad things, (1) munafiq lies (2) munafiq does not fulfill his promises (3) munafiq betray (khiyanat) to others and with his work/actions. If I or we do any of those 3 things then I or we are munafiq.

There is NO such area can be called DHA-10 at this stage but you can assume DHA-9 extention like wise if interested to invest.

Aoa, As per all of us who have been following the prices of DHA lahore since it emerged, The Prices of DHA property has only gone down to bounce back again. If you see in phase 1 or Phase 3 you can find a 8 marla plaza of old style and only few floors still in range of 5 to 10 million. so just compare the prices of new phase like 6 &8 and the prices of their commercial plots, as prices have gone up high due to some reasons, I don't think these reasons will settle down soon, even when it settles down, the area of DHA would be more populated as now. So naturally the prices will not go much down .

You chose very good issue.in my point of view DHA Lahore commercial has both side advantage and Disadvantage. Advantage is security for oversea investor without QABZA Title clear so on. Disadvantage are more than advantage. Very high prices as compare other area of property. Low income return.

First of all ... I dont see appreciation in it. After too much gain.
My uncle bought phase 4 6 marla commercial one year back at 2 crore.
and constructed a plaza on it. In one year time the price of that comm. (Plot only) is 5.5 crores.

At start he wanted to rent it now he wants to sell his plaza cause he thinks assets of 7 crores and getting 3 lakh rent is not enough.

Every one wants more out of their money so Just calculate it yourself. He want to invest in plots now in phase 7 specially to extract more out in one year.

This guy is fooling around.
There is no indication of rates dramatically dropping (or rising). Commercial space is dependant highly on population growth and disposable income.
Lahore's population growth is only going to improve. Disposable income will increase accordingly if not by ratio but by amount.

In fact rental yields are highest in commercials DHA or Bahria so i don't see any rates dropping also in near future.

well it is my opinion and all i am saying is investing 6 crores and getting 3 lacs in return not seems feasible.
Either market rent will be re-adjusted or prices will fall for commercial.
