Wellcome to the coalition govt. of PPPP, PML-N, ANP .....
We all know that they came back to Pakistan due to western pressure other wise they were criminals on record.
Now since they have been forced upon and Pakistan is finally heading towards it final end. Where every thing will be imported and only bussiness left would be to buy and sell property.
Now whole world is terming Pakistan a dysfunctional state!
I remember 2 years ago we were a proud nation and today we are being looked upon with suspisions.
India and Afgahnistan is blaming us for terrorism but no reciprocal answer has been issued by state instead we are planning to buy indian junk full of diseases.

Zardari is really Bimari !!!!
Coalition Govt is leading us no where. They have already lost support from ordinary citizen. They dont have any vision. They think only how to continue war of terror.
The point is do we heave a real national leader/leadership in the country. Did we manage to produce any national leader/leadership (during 60 year) ? No, certainly Not.
What we produced only Lotas and Lifafas who have been growing up under Military establishment. Majority of leaders you see on your TV screen just appreard because of Khushamad, Chaplosi and personal/family relationships.

Riba is War against Allah & His Prophet Mohammad (Sall-Allah-u-Alaihe-Wassalam) declared in Surah Al-Baqarah, 275-279.

Can u win that war? Please think thoroughly before iinvesting for u & ur children as well.

Atif Latif replied on Tuesday, July 22, 2008 03:37 PM PST

According to Sahih Bokhari, Prophet Mohammad (Peace Be Upon Him) said that the minimum sin to take Riba is equal to doing Zina (Intercourse) with one's mother.

Can any brother please provide the reference, i.e. Hadith Number, Volume Number etc.

Surely Mr. Ghamadi will not be there in our graves or on the Day of Judgement to speak for us!

We all have the resposibility to research and know what is Halal and what is not. Riba is very clearly mentioned as Haram in Quran and Sahih Hadiths.

Also, there is anothe Hadith (again I don't know the reference) that says that leave whatever put you in doubt.

May Allah save all of us from this evil (Riba)

Atif Latif replied on Tuesday, July 22, 2008 07:13 PM PST

Here I have complete references from Quran and Hadith for Riba.

**References from Glorious Quran***

If we explore the Qur’an we will come across at least four places where Allah has mentioned interest.

The first one is in Surah Al-baqarah verse no.275

"Those who devour usury will not stand except as stands one whom the Satan by his touch has driven to madness. That is because they say, "trade is like usury", but Allah has permitted trade and has forbidden usury",

In the next verse verse 276 in the same place he says,

"Allah will deprive usury of all blessing, and will give increase for deeds of charity, for he does not love any ungrateful sinner."

Two verses later in verse 278 he says,

"Oh you who believe! Fear Allah and give up what remains of your demand for usury if you are indeed believers."

In verse 279 he says,

"If you do not, take notice of war from Allah and his Messenger sallallahu alaihe wasallm but if you repent you shall have your capital sum. Deal not unjustly and you shall not be dealt with unjustly."

In the second place in Surah Aal-Imran, verse no.130 Allah says,

"Oh you who believe! Devour not usury doubled and multiplied; but fear Allah that you may prosper."

In the third place in Surah Al-Nisaa’ Allah states in verse 161,

"That they took usury though they were forbidden and they devoured peoples wealth wrongfully; we have prepared for those amongst them who reject faith a grievous chastisement."

In the fourth place, Surah Al-Room, verse no.39 Allah mentions

"That which you give in usury for increase through the property of people will have no increase with Allah: but that which you give for charity seeking the countenance of Allah, it is these who will get a recompense multiplied."

**References from Hadiths***

Hazrat Jabir radiyallahu anhu has reported that the Messenger of Allah sallallahu alaihe wasallm cursed the devourer of usury, its payer, its scribe and its two witnesses. He also said that they were equal (in sin).

(Muslim)
Hazrat Abu Hurairah radiyallahu anhu reported that the Holy Prophet sallallahu alaihe wasallm said: A time will certainly come over the people when none will remain who will not devour usury. If he does not devour it, its vapour will overtake him.
(Ahmed, Abu Dawood, Nisai, Ibn Majah.)
Hazrat Abu Hurairah radiyallahu anhu reported that the Messenger of Allah sallallahu alaihe wasallm said : Usury has got seventy divisions. The easiest division of them is a man marrying his mother.
(Ibn Majah)
Hazrat Abu Hurairah radiyallahu anhu reported that the Messenger of Allah sallallahu alaihe wasallm said: I came across some people in the night in which I was taken to the heavens. Their stomachs were like houses wherein there were serpents, which could be seen from the front of their stomachs. I asked: O Gabriel! Who are these people? He replied these are those who devoured usury.
(Ahmed, Ibn Majah)
Hazrat Ali radiyallahu anhu reported that he heard the Messenger of Allah sallallahu alaihe wasallm cursing the devourer of usury, its giver, its scribe and one who refuses to give Zakat and he used to forbid mourning.
(Nisai)
Hazrat Umar bin Al-Khattab radiyallahu anhu reported: the last of what was revealed was the verse of usury. The Messenger of Allah sallallahu alaihe wasallm was taken and he had not explained it to us. So, give up usury and doubt.
(Ibn Majah, Darimi)
Hazrat Abdullah bin Hanzalah radiyallahu anhu (who was washed by the angels) reported that the Messenger of Allah sallallahu alaihe wasallm said: A dirham of usury that a man devours and he knows is greater than 36 fornications.
(Ahmed, Darqutni)

Baihaqi reported from Ibn Abbas radiyallahu anhu in shuabul iman. He added and said: (as for) one whose flesh has grown out of unlawful food, the fire is more suitable for him.

After narrating all these verses from the Qur’an and relating all the Ahaadith it is apparent to us that interest could never be legal and halal. How could anybody even take the time out to think about a matter in which Allah has declared war on the user and his Beloved Prophet sallallahu alaihe wasallm has cursed him? As sensible people we can understand that what our creator has chosen for us is for our own prosperity only.

Why do we forget the minorities.

Lolzz so you are allowing Soud in a Islamic country just because you think minorities also live in the country. Nothing can go beyond the limits shown by Quran and sunnah.

Pardesi, jeddah replied on Wednesday, July 23, 2008 06:23 PM PST

For ur info Riba was haram in every religion, their decendants made changes in thier laws, like creation of christianity after Issa (AS); practicing Jews even today do not deal in Riba WITH EACH OTHER but they have made it halal for themselves if they deal with a non-Jew.

In Pakistan, the UAE is considering buying more than 100,000 acres (40,470 hectares) of farmland worth 500 million dollars, press reports said. Private UAE firms such as the Dubai-based Abraaj Capital have also reportedly been buying agricultural land in Pakistan.

According to the reports, when Pakistani Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani visited Saudi Arabia in June he offered hundreds of thousands of acres of agricultural land to the Saudis in return for oil.

But agricultural exporters including Egypt and Pakistan recently imposed export bans on certain crops after riots triggered by food shortages at home.

Host countries for agricultural investment may therefore be unable to allow exports because they have to feed their own people.

One issue reportedly delaying UAE investment in Pakistan is the Gulf state appearing to want "blanket exemption" from Islamabad's agricultural export policies, according to a Pakistani official cited by The National
zawya.com

Food replied on Tuesday, July 22, 2008 12:36 AM PST

Agricultural land would be equivalent to oil fields in very near future.
Now we know why present govt. is enjoying VIP treatment in Dubai.
Cetainly, Zardari would get a compensation in return.

IR replied on Tuesday, July 22, 2008 03:26 AM PST

They will buy a huge area of pakistan with few millions of dollars. And people will see the impact of this one day when our people will not have to eat anything.

ouch replied on Tuesday, July 22, 2008 09:39 AM PST

Look at the face of Zardari. If you really look at it, you cannot be surprised by anything he does. It screams evil.

Everyone needs to clean his glasses or get a new pair before Pakistan is sold to the "lowest" Arab bidder.

BTW, this sale of farmland will NOT happen without the approval of America. Look at a few of the faces in Washington and the rest of the story will become obvious. KISS THE LAND GOODBYE !!!!

yes replied on Thursday, July 24, 2008 07:38 PM PST

Would the US allow IRAN to buy this land in Pakistan? NO NO NO

The UAE will buy this "farmland" and allow the US to establish military bases and airports there. I doubt this "farmland" is not going to be used to grow corn.

Washington calls the shots and drives the bus.

Friends please note DHA 9-10 had a very good support level at 16.30 to 16.40 lacs but since there are many more sellers than buyers in market this level is breached today. Its a very bad sign to me and I think there is more weekness ahead for DHA 9-10 and DHA 8 proper files. Even DHA 8 Parkview files have started to fall now. Prices are falling sharply in DHA 7 and even DHA 6 plus DHA 5 have started to get weeker and weeker with more sellers showing up in market than buyers with every passing day.

BTW I had feeling this support level will not stand this time so I put chart online this afternoon to show you that level.

When petrol
prices go up everything go up in result. So it means that in few days every commodity including the transport fares will go up. On the other hand we are still not realizing on our internal investment opurtunities. our economy based on foreign investment which seems to be very difficult in present circumstances. Even local investor is going out which result in massive flight of capital. In these condition do you think so that property market will sustain? Its a big slump ahead. Untill we get 2 good crops of wheat and rice. Some good rains cause a bit high level of water in our dams(Enough for arrigation and power projects) and little bit stability of our political system. Till that you can see that we will not be able to see a good change in our proprty/currency/stock exchange.

Dear CMY
Prices of plots in DHA 9&10 are holding between 15 and 18 lakhs from some time. Can you make an educated guess as to when/in what year, possibally ballot could be held/ development completed and or the plots will be available for construction?
Will that be a good investment at this time considering the time laps and the develpment of other phases already in progress?
Sam 2008

Shakeel replied on Tuesday, July 22, 2008 06:42 AM PST

thing that matters is relative pricing of DHA 9/10 with other 1K plots. if the price goes down, one may consider looking for additional file (assuming you have funds). this is because the relative price of DHA 9/10 1K compared to any where else 1K in DHA is very attractive. Where can one find a developed 1K plot in
DHA Lahore for less than 60-70 lacs? Property is always an illiquid asset class and hence better risk-return trade-off if held for at least 5 years. The short term may not look good but longer term its going to offer a good return.

Shakeel

CMY replied on Wednesday, July 23, 2008 03:23 AM PST

I had noticed the minor error which has been pointed pout by Mr. Shehzad Sarwar, appearently that gas been rectified by you already. I have a suggestion here as well. It needs some serious consideration. You havean access to all the basic data, it would be a good idea to make a model here and run a statistical program like "Minitab". It would not be that hard to make a model with some parameters like Province of the Country, Town of the Province, Name of the Housing Society, size of the plot, in addition to this, if you model includes all the factors that effect the value of the plot, I think it would be possible to forecast the future value of the plot. It is some thing worth trying.
