Orange Train Project entering the final stages

Lahore: The Advisor to Chief Minister and Chairman of Steering Committee for Lahore Orange Line Metro Train Project, Khawaja Ahmad Hassaan noted that out of the 27 train sets being imported, 17 have already arrived and the rest will be imported in the next few week, reported a news source. He noted this during the weekly progress review meeting.

He further stated that 84% of the civil work is also complete, so the project has reached its final stages and all the relevant departments are working in coordination for swift completion. Nespak General Manager Salman Hafeez further elaborated that 40% of electrical and mechanical work has also been completed.

Progress on Package-I from Dera Gujjran, GT Road to Chauburji was 89.5%, on Package-II from Chauburji to Ali Town, it was 75%, and on the depot near Dera Gujjran, it was 85 %, while on Stabling Yard near Ali Town it was 86 %.

It was also noted in the meeting that after Supreme Court withdrew the restraining order, the construction work near the historical spots was also progressing at a fair pace. Khawaja Ahmad Hassaan instructed the meeting to follow the Supreme Court’s directions through and through in this regards.

Why r u not showing the rates of
DHA multan one kanal affidavit & allocation files. Is there any secret in hiding them & they r available on phone call only. Previously u were showing them on ur web & whats up chat and it was easy for us to see the progress of DHA multan rates while progressing or coming down. Pl show DHA multan rates also as u r showing rates of all other DHAs. Why this discrimination being done with DHA multan. Thanks.

Dear Experts,

Please give your opinion about what will be the priority in terms of preference among:

DHA Phase 9 Prism 5 Marla Plot
DHA Phase 8 Ivy Green (please mention the block for 5 marla)
DHA Phase 9 town E Block 5 marla

According to my understanding, prices are almost same so which one should be preferred for short and long term?

Prices in E Block of DHA 9 Town must be minimum 05 Lacs more as compared to Prisim and IVY but it seems that due to possession there are chances to get populated earlier or in case of contractor and builder enter to resale construed houses so prices are likely to be appreciated.

I have applied for 5 marla in DHA Gujranwala. Can someone guide me what was the subscription turn up. What are the chances of getting a plot ?. When will be the balloting ?. Are there any development charges in addition to cost of land ?. Is it possible to do further business, (Sale / transfer etc) in Lahore or one has to go to Gujranwala for that ?

Does anyone know as to what is the ideal ratio between the number of commercial plots versus the residential plots in a society ? Like for how many houses should there be one 5 marla commerical for it to be feasible for a business, restaurant or banks etc. It seems to me that in the new societies the commerical plots are far too many to be supported by enough residents..Any opinions ?
