Bahria Town Lahore GVR


I have visited yesterday GVR. I entered through Raiwind Road beacon house society road then village tarogil to Golf Resdencia developed road. The part along side Nargis block was developed but found no further development work in progress there. Bahria has developed only that area which they hold and due to land issues the work was stopped. I also tried to find the possible marking area of ring road but there was lot of vague information as Rafi and Iqbal block people were constructing homes and commercials as well. I asked there this area along side Mosque is heard to be marked for LRR but I got information that Bahria has asked to continue construction there is no concrete finalization of route yet may be its along Bilawal house side.

So the future of GVR seemed not so good due to land not acquired by Bahria and route of LRR also not clear.

The best way is to wait and see till any further information. But personally seeing yesterday the investment in GVR is quite risky option.

i have a plot close to 150 Sheikh Saadi sector F. An earlier post on this forum indicated that this block might get affected. Any info in this regard is appreciated.

@atif... sheikh saadi is no where...its a ghost sector only on papers...how can LRR affect that??? plus even if it gets built according to the present map( which seems improbable though) LRR will comfortably avoid sheikh saadi...so LRR is not your issue. issue is Bahria has no land to develop sheikh saadi

Ramadan mubarik,

Dear Knowledeable readers please advice on my situation on selling a file in dha 9.

I got transferred one kanal file on my name 3 years ago through my brother in Pakistan. I never got a chance to visit Pakistan and sign documents in dha office.Now I need money and want to sell this file but my problem is I still can't travel to Pakistan.
My question:
Can I sell this file throught power of attorney etc..?

please throw some light on it and guide me how to do it. thanks.

In fact v good question -

I also had same query which ended after alot of discussion
In favor of ph 7 for few reason

1- more trend of ppl in 7 due to proper phase
Map is far more better even if location may not not that better than 5
I was suggested by some property guru to buy adjacent phase 9 prism b blok than 5 m in 12000000 while in b its 6000000 half of its price:

A few things to note. The price of a good plot in Phase 5 M is about 120 lacs, while good plots in B Prism cost 70 + approx 20 lacs in development costs to be paid. The comparison is between 90 lacs in Prism B and 120 lacs in Phase 5 M; therefore, it is wrong to use 60 lacs figure. The 30 lac difference can be explained by the fact that Phase 5 M should expect possession in 12-18 months, while Prism B should take 4 years for development.
