DHA-8 is double in value over DHA-9 from ages. when DHA-8 was launched @ 45 lac + 10 lac for development. The price of DHA-9 was around 23 lacs. Today an average plot of DHA-8 is around 100 lac and the file in DHA-9 is 50 lac.

I believe this gape will get narrow therefore I will suggest you DHA-9. But your time frame of 2 years has confused me and I do not know what will be exact position and difficult to predict

but in all cases I will go for DHA-9

Although Bharia Lahore is not connected to DHA Lahore, but definitely real estate investor will be checking which master developer is stronger in terms of its public support and also which developer is handing over the developed projects at much faster pace.

while i agree with phase 8, completely disagree with phase 7 not having potential. Phase 7 has tremendous potential. Not to mention, unlike phase 8, it is ready for constuction and will fill up far more quickly. Phase 8 needs another 7-8 years.

NFC Lahore phase 1 was a state of the art project in its time and now time is getting closer and closer to actually see NFC Lahore phase 2 to become a reality too. Prices in NFC Lahore phase 2 are just dirt cheap when you look at compare it with even non possession Bahria town plots prices. I agree Bahria Town is Bahria Town nothing come closer to it BUT my friends we as investors have to see many other things. NFC Lahore phase 2 has lot more room to give you better return percentage wise than Bahria town. Gains in Bahria Town Lahore will be lot less than gains in NFC Lahore percentage wise for a 2 to 5 years investment. Why? Just a few reasons. I dont know when but I am % sure one day in near or long future Bahria Town Lahore management will take over NFC Lahore phase 2 just like they have done it many times in Islamabad for many smaller schemes. NFC Lahore phase 2 location and especially its direct access to Multan road and possibly Lahore Ring Road southern part and still lot lower prices of NFC Lahore phase 2 makes it a perfect target for Bahria Town take over that will be loved by NFC Lahore phase 2 current owners and even management. Bahria town may pay lot better salary than current pay . NFC Lahore phase 2 is currently under development but pace is slower than expectation. I think NFC Lahore management may be slowing its development on purpose so in future Bahria Town could add few things here and there for making some money from takeover. In real estate investments locations and access is most important thing. Development standard is also very important. Development standard of NFC Lahore phase 2 is very high quality for this low prices housing scheme. Lahore Real Estate do recommend you buy 10 to 25% of your real estate investment budget in NFC Lahore phase 2.

hamesha ground flood ki walls k upper first floor ki walls ani chaheay.... otherwise chat ki slab pe dewaron ka load ae ga... aur wo ziada unstable ho .... ya phir kisi engineer se proper design karwa letay to jahan first floor ki dewar ani hoti to us k neechay beam provide kar deta to es tarah upar wali dewar ka load chat pe na parta balkay side di diwaron pe transfer ho jata.. par jesa ap ne btaya k chat par gae ha to ab ap dewar k uper hi dewar rakhen... i hope this will be helpful

Upar wali deewar nechay wali deewar sey hatt kar bhi banai ja sakti thi lekin uss k liay nechay wali slab men pehlay margin rakhna parta hai.Iss soorat mein nechay wali slab mein steel kaafi ziada daala jata hai kayunkeh deewar ka wight bhi slab per aana hota hai. Aap k case mein shaid aisa nahin hua. Iss liay abb der ho chuki hai.Aap ko deewar per deewar hi bana paray gi. Thekedar ki baat per yaqin na karein. Woh aap ko ghalt mashwara dey raha hai. Mein structural engineer hoon aur aap k problem ka direct mere profession sey taalluq hai.Mein aap ko theek advice dey raha hoon.

Don't do it.It is very very risky to do it at this stage & may create problems in lower slab.Opinion of contractor is wrong.

Get Civil Engineer's services.i think it is possible if the 2nd floor slab weight is transferred to the foundation through walls.Use some kind of light weight partition wall for 2nd floor rooms. You can still provide a beam on top of existing first floor slab to support the load and transfer it to foundation through first floor walls.
