I want to know the people's experience of buying ready made kitchen cabinets, there in Pakistan. Apparently they are not cheaper. I am planning to remodel my kitchen.

I understand that they are not made from real wood.

So are they strong,durable and reliable versus real wood.

What are their cons/ pros versus real wood.

What are different types and any recommendation on supplier of good quality cabinets. ( Preferably around Islamabad region.

LDA AVENUE 1 POSSESSION OPEN FROM 31TH MARCH 2014

Lahore – The LDA (Lahore Development Authority) has announced that it will start handing over possession of plots to the LDA Avenue 1 allottees from 31st March, 2014. Possession of plots will be provided on 69% clear area of LDA Avenue 1.The body has also granted a building period of three years to the owners of plots. Applicants are required to deposit a processing fee of Rs. 10,000 per kanal for getting possession. LDA has advised the defaulters, who have not submitted their dues so far, to settle remaining charges by 30th June, 2014. Failing to do so will lead to the cancellation of their plots.
