LDA City is set to hand over plot possessions next month


The Lahore Development Authority (LDA) has officially announced that the possession of 1500 plots in LDA City is on track to be granted in the upcoming month, as reported on November 22.


In a recent meeting chaired by LDA DG Muhammad Ali Randhawa, an action plan for the possession of plots in Block C of the Jinnah Sector was discussed. The meeting witnessed the participation of key figures, including LDA Chief Engineer Israr Saeed, TEPA Chief Engineer Iqrar Hussain, Metropolitan Planning Chief Nadeem Akhtar Zaidi, Town Planner-II Chief Azhar Ali, DG Headquarters Director, DSC Director, Project Director, LDA City Director, Finance Director, NESPAK, and other relevant officers.


During the meeting, Randhawa conveyed promising news for plot owners, indicating that the possession of 5 marla, 10 marla, 1 kanal, and 2 kanal plots in Block C is scheduled for the upcoming month. Furthermore, possession in other blocks of the Jinnah Sector will be facilitated in subsequent phases.


Providing insights into the ongoing development, LDA City Director Khurram Yaqoob and Project Director Usman Nazar briefed the attendees on the nearing completion of the sports complex within LDA City. The meeting also comprehensively reviewed the progress of works in Block C, encompassing services, facilities, and the construction of essential amenities such as a mosque, park, and other developmental projects. As the handover of plot possessions draws near, stakeholders can anticipate positive developments in the coming month.

سپریم کورٹ میں بحریہ ٹاؤن کراچی عمل درآمد کیس کی سماعت کے دوران چیف جسٹس قاضی فائز عیسی اور وکیل سلمان اسلم بٹ میں متعدد بار تلخی ہوئی۔

بحریہ ٹاون کے وکیل نے کہا کہ انہوں نے سندھ حکومت کی جانب سے جمع کرائی گئی رپورٹ نہیں پڑھی۔

وکیل نے کہا کہ ان کی دوبارہ مودبانہ گزارش ہے کہ اس رپورٹ پر ایک جواب جمع کرانے کی مہلت دیں۔

سلمان بٹ نے کہا کہ جواب جمع کرانے کے بعد سارا معاملہ عدالت پر چھوڑ دوں گا۔

سلمان بٹ کے مطابق عدالت نے جو سولہ ہزار ایکڑ کا آرڈر کیا تھا۔سروے رپورٹ میں اس پر ایک لفظ نہیں لکھا گیا۔

سلمان اسلم بٹ نے کہا کہ رپورٹ میں نہیں بتایا گیا وعدہ کی گئی سولہ ہزار ایکڑ میں سے کتنی زمین بحریہ ٹاؤن کو ملی۔

وکیل نے کہا کہ سروے رپورٹ میں عدالتی حکم کی تعمیل نہیں کی گئی۔

چیف جسٹس نے کہا کہ زمین کا آڈٹ کرانے کی درخواست آپ لے کر آئے ہیں اور اب اس پر دس سرکاری محکموں کے حکام کے دستخطوں سے رپورٹ آئی ہے تو اعتراض کیوں دیکھیں؟

وکیل نے کہا کہ مجھ پر اونچا نہ بولیں۔مجھے یہ پسند نہیں کوئی مجھ چلائے۔
عدالت ہو یا کوئی بھی جگہ میں خود پر چیخنے کو پسند نہیں کرتا۔

چیف جسٹس نے کہا کہ آپ پر چلا نہیں رہے نہ آپ کو اس کی اجازت دیں گے۔چیف جسٹس نے بحریہ کے وکیل کے رویے سے تنگ آ کر کہا کہ سمجھ نہیں اتی ہم روئیں یا نہیں۔

چیف جسٹس قاضی فائز عیسی نے وکیل بحریہ ٹاؤن پر اظہار برہمی کرتے ہوئے کہا کہ مجھے قانون کے شعبے سے وابستہ ہوئے 41 سال ہو گئے ہیں،کچھ عزت دیں اور طریقہ کار کے مطابق کیس کے متعلقہ دلائل دیں۔

چیف جسٹس نے کہا کہ آپ ایسے ہی جاری رکھیں گے تو نتائج کے لیے بھی تیار رہیں۔

آپ کو ملیر ڈویلمنٹ اتھارٹی نے لے آوٹ منظوری کا خط کب جاری کیا؟ وہ خط جاری نہیں کر رہے تھے تو آپ انہیں لکھ دیتے۔

وکیل نے استدعا کی کہ عدالت 16 ہزار ایکڑ زمین سے متعلق دوبارہ آڈر کرے کہ اس کا جائزہ لیا جائے۔

چیف جسٹس نے کہا کہ ہم اور کوئی آڈر نہیں دیں گے،آج ہی کیس مکمل کریں گے، ہم رات تک بیٹھے ہیں۔ چیف جسٹس

وکیل نے کہا کہ میں مزید کھڑا نہیں رہ سکتا۔

چیف جسٹس نے کہا کہ ہم آپکو کرسی دے دیتے ہیں۔بیٹھ کر دلائل دے دیں۔

چیف جسٹس کی عدالتی اسٹاف کو وکیل بحریہ ٹاؤن کو کرسی دینے کی ہدایت کی تو بحریہ ٹاؤن کے وکیل نے لینے سے انکار کیا اور کہا کہ مجھے کوئی کرسی نہیں چاہیے۔

سلمان بٹ کی جانب سے بحریہ ٹاؤن کراچی کا نقشہ عدالت میں پیش کیا گیا۔

ویسے مجھے بہت مایوسی ہو گی۔ آپ نے درخواست دوہزار انیس میں دائر کی۔دستاویزات 2022لگا رہے ہیں۔

چیف جسٹس نے کہا کہ آپ سے جو سوال کیا جاتا ہے اس کا جواب دیں۔

وکیل سلمان بٹ نے کہا کہ میں اُسی طریقے سے جواب دوں گا جو میرا ہے۔

چیف جسٹس نے کہا کہ آپ لڑائی کر رہے ہیں، آپ کا رویہ نوٹ کیا جا رہا ہے۔ یہ کوئی مشکل سوال نہیں ہے کہ اب تک بحریہ ٹاؤن کو کتنی رقم ادا کرنا چاہیے تھی۔

وکیل نے کہا کہ جب تک پوری زمین نہیں ملتی رقم دینے کا پابند نہیں۔

چیف جسٹس نے کہا کہ عدالت کا سوال اور آپ کے جواب کو تحریری طور پر ریکارڈ کر لیتے ہیں۔
