aoa I am civilengineer by profession and did visit Raya earlier this year. I am very attracted to this place. But as fare the construction quality I find the basement done right but the quality of the work and finishing is poor.
I have decided not to invest inside as there are no places for privacy and no places for children to play. The greenary is marvellous and the mall are the best in planning. So I have invested outside but will enjoy the facilities of the gulf club. As I am not a gulfer.

Hope everyone is doing fine.

I have a query regarding rental value of commercial plots in Dha. What is the average rent for a plaza hired by a party other than bank? Furthermore, if any one could shed light as to how one can approach/influence banks to hire one's building on rent?

I have commercial plot in dha 8 and i was wondering what approach i should take while designing its layout and constructing it. Is it beneficial if basement and 2nd 3rd floors are constructed given that we have power outages issue and lift wont be working most of the time.

Your valuable and experienced suggestion would b highly appreciated.

Dear Forum and readers Aslamoalikom,

I found this site very useful accordingly i am going to write my problem here to get some useful advice from respectable and experienced people.

I purchased a 21 Marla plot in jan 2011 at a co-operative housing society raiwind road lahore, while purchasing i got the allotment letter of 21 marla and paid the transfer charges for 21 marla, old possession letter (Seller) also shown the same area.

Last month i applied for my own possession to build house but after 25 days society called me and said it is 18 marla not 21 marla because they create new plot in the same row.

and they are not giving any compensation for less area.

1 marla which is more than one kanal excess land also paid by the old seller and i have copy of invoice and a copy of old possession letter.


I need help as i am really not aware about my rights for this case, may i get less area or go to court. and if i go to court normally this kind of cases takes how long, and anybody can help me to find out any good wakeel.

In General practice what are the expense need to be paid to a good wakeel for said issue.

Please give advice to relief me from this stress.
