I am in process of buying a house in Lahore [Not DHA or proper society] and I dont know all the legal requirments as this will be my first property.
Can someone guide me how I can make this transaction clean without any issues, my questions are

1- How I can check if there is any loan against this property?

2- How can I transfer house on my name, the seller is asking 50% at the buying time and remaing 50% in two months?

3- what is the way to check if all the taxes are paid for this property.

If someone have little bit time then review my previous comments for the last few days regarding the price of phase 9 file price,that's all now coming true.


I also agreed with the comments of MR.--- that to sale the file now at this stage is just like to break the ROZA just before AZAN-e-MAHGRIB.

So its my advice to all phase 9 file holders ,keep the files firmly in your hands and see the magic and enjoy it.

I am working in Saudi Arabia since last 16 years and I bought two files of DHA 9 during year 2010. Today I received final notice by FBR Pakistan to submit my tax assessment for the year 2010 by paying Tax of Rs 675,000. As far as my knowledge is concern, I consider any Pakistani working abroad is exempted to pay tax in Pakistan and also is exempted to submit tax assessment.
