As interest rates rise, the general tendency is for the gold price, which earns no interest, to fall...

Point I am trying to make is just watch-out keep a close eye on overall economic recovery taking place internationally and interest rates which currently are at lowest levels but it will not remain the same for long!!

I might be not good as much as i feel you are. I did some search and everywhere i find Gold prices will go up. These might be assumptions. But now a days you will find indians are buying more gold than ever.

I am not a jeweller however, I never find los in purchase of gold. However, some times profit is small in one hand but double withing three years on the other hand. Mr. MH should plot the graph up to date.

I think i got the right person. Can you just share your experience? I mean how to buy and how to sell Gold. I have a plan to buy Gold biscuits and later sell it. what is the difference when selling gold in market compare to buying price of that day.

you might see change in the trend after 2012 you can follow the trend but I won't suggest putting too much of Trust in the metal at this time
if I had to invest it will be not more than 5% of my dead cash

Also the format given to me from DHA is not matching with what is displayed in Google Earth?

brother. DHA Coordinates will not match with google. because us using internation coordinates system. while DHA is using Survey of Pakistan Coordinates system.
However you can locate plot on DHA phase-2 map or at site easily.
don't waste your time in google map.

Send someone to plot site who has any mobile with GPS sytem. He can take coordinates and then those coordinates can be imported into GOOGLE software easily. Try it. It will work.

Phase 7 Map has already been revised about year ago and on LRE site there is new map most of Maps printed with dealers are old maps,
Another new map is expected soon as It is heard that there is some more land clear or might be other litigation issues in non developed blocks,
As per my last vist in DHA 7 one month ago there is a huge village in v Block, still Current map is showing Plots in that area I am 100% sure DHA cant take that place as it is not cost effective for them. again there is an encroachment in Block X though small status of that is also not clear.
I expect many minor reversions of DHA 7 map till most of people get possession same happened in DHA 6 but Fortunately they could get most of Land

A new DHA Lahore phase 7 map will released soon by DHA officially that will indicate all pockets and villages. People effected from these pockets and villages will be relocated to equal or better location area in DHA 7.

DHA Lahore phase 6 plot D 210 is worth Rs 66 Lacs cause its 70 feet road facing C block plot. Its a good location to hold.

This is about the ban on commercial use of main roads in Johar Town area by CM shahbaz sharif. Intetestingly, the Johar Town main boulevard as it name says is supposed to be a commercial road is BANNED for commercialization, Same issue with Khayaban-e-Jinnah (shaukat khanum to Raiwind road). Should these so important main artery roads be banned for commercial activities ?

How bigger risk is the risk of buying a property for future commercial use on Khayaban-e-Jinnah or Johar Town Main Boulevard ?

Anyone has any idea ?

all except Gulsha e Lahore are regulated societies, I am sure in Valancia they will not allow to open a school or Academy but Clinic, gym, buti parlor may be negociable, You will have to make building exactly as per LDA standard House, if there is not much traffic and parking problem then you can run small business, As a matter of fact in Valancia they dont allow you to Park car outside your house.

well established society .....full of gardening....every neccasity here......big n beautiful houses there....mosque....school....college....comercial markets.....best thing is location.....without any fraud....no litigation issues.....roads are wide....prices are high because of this reasons.....best for resident.....
