More than 763 million dollars entered the Pakistani economy in March

Remittances sent home by overseas Pakistanis continue to show a rising trend, a DawnNews report said on Saturday.

Remittances increased by 16 per cent during the first nine months of the fiscal year as an amount of 6.55 billion dollars was sent home by Pakistanis living abroad.

This shows an increase of more than 892 million dollars from the same period for the last fiscal year.

More than 763 million dollars entered the Pakistani economy in March, which bodes well for the country.

The monthly average for remittances also grew in the current fiscal year compared to the previous.

The State Bank, Ministry of Finance and Ministry of Overseas Pakistanis had undertaken a joint initiative called ‘Pakistan Remittance Initiative,’ in order to facilitate the flow of remittances through formal channels.

This initiative has started to materialise and remittances through formal channels have been showing considerable growth. —DawnNews

dear parkview friends
i also have a happy news for u.i just talk with an dha high management man today.before he told me that parkview files will not include in upcoming fhase8 ballot and that proved true.now he told me that dont sale ur file of parkview because parkview ballot inshallah will be withen one year.now dha is full attention at parkview and they are trying to aquire land for parkview and parkview will not go to other side of berki road it will remail at same place.so please dont be panic and wait only for one year.parkview will be inshallah best phase of dha.

M personally of the opinion that from now onwards its the PARKVIEW file will bring the business in the market -when the political situation improves.
DHA9,10 is a long story & every1 knows bout that,Phase 5 M block & phase 6
files are very few.
files of phase % ext & of phase7 were neither favourite nor hot business in the market and they will never get a warm welcom .
Location of PV is ambigous but still of the strong chance that it will never go across the barki road n its DHA 8 area and it will be populated very quickly (even earlier than phase7) despite late development .
and lastly dealer also need something to play ----

yes and parkview will be most important and well planed phase.parkview rates will be more high than every phase of dha.dha adminstrater had promised me that write at ur dairy withen one year parkview balloting will be accure.i also have a file of parkview to make my dream home after the balloting of phase8 i had decided to sale out my file and buy any other place to make house.i also take suggestion from cmy sahib and he also said same to sale out parkview file but to do my decesion final and made a call with my friend(he is in high management of dha)he told me dont sale ur file parkview balloting will be inshallah withen one year.so now i have decided not to sale my file.where i am waiting since long time there i can waite one year more.so best of luck parkview holders.

Assalam-O-Alaikum,

In my humble opinion, everyone involved in the real-estate business should avoid the old speculative approach, which might bring a temporary boom to a specific market, but can't sustain for a longer period of time. I am afraid, some people are still dreaming about the gold rush of PRE-2005, which in fact will never be repeated again.

Besides, unfortunately the real-estate business in Pakistan is based upon certain fundamentals, which are not only non-realistic, but at the time completely absurd, hollow and outright ridiculous. If we find any investor in the market, we strongly start to believe that from now onwards the market will go only in one way & that is upwards. This approach is extremely deceptive & has proven disastrous time and again for most of the small timers, who are actually the real buyers. In marketing language, investor is like a whore, who will go for anyone with a “Better Offer”. So, once the investor is in, doesn’t necessarily mean that he will stick to that place for good. During these volatile circumstances, we should all let the common sense prevail itself & try not to get ourselves carried away by mere speculations or just the plain gimmicks spread by the marketing guys. On the contrary, the price factor should be based upon the good old principal of Supply & Demand and must NOT be based upon rumor mongering!!!
