I have checked the DHA website , i was not working the whole previous day but now its working but still there are no ballott results, any information where to check the result????

I just talked to DHA, they told me results will be avaliable on the web site after 2PM (Pakistan Time).................
and obviously you will need the CNIC of the applicant to check the results.... all the best for every one.

overall saudi is economical in terms of cost of living vs other gulf states like Qatar, Dubai etc.

I am in Qatar and schooling is 1 to 1.5 K Qatari riyal in decent british or international schools.

What is the plot number you have and in which sector of I-12.(I-12/1, 2, 3 OR 4)))))? And what is the scope of this sector? I think its a long way to reach destination.........

As far i know a bit about I-11, i think cda will develop i-12 after i-11. and no good news yet for i-11.So how can someone think of i-12.

I think no need to dump al the money of a person hardly earned to be spend for a long time and better to spend in d-12.where alomost work is done.

Could you please tell me what is the difference between "File" and "Application"?

Is it mean that who has already DHA phase 8 file, there is possiblity that he will not get plot?

As I know all applicants (applications)will not get plot as per balloting.

Please anybody explain the division of plots, thanks in advance.

All who had DHA 8 proper allocation files did get a plot in ballot.

Those who applied for installment plots were the one that may or my not get plot in ballot.

Refunds to unsuccessful applicants will start from tomorrow Apr 8 2010.

I have no idea how many applicants applied and how many plots given to them. This data is not available to public.

DHA will never tell how many were total number of Applicants, But my gut feeling is that they could not get applications even equal to number of Kanal plots. It does not make logic to buy a plot in DHA 8 get it after 3 to 5 years when you can buy a plot in park view or air avenue in almost same price, or you can get file 21 Lac cheaper. Parkview and airavenue are ready for construction and people are living there. Due to small number of 10 merla and 8 Merla Plots applications may be little more and some will refund.
Now big questions remains if DHA have surplus land/plots will they entertain Park view files or will try sell them again in market. 2nd is if DHA have, say 25% surplus plots. Will they be randomly located or DHA will first fill bad? or good? located areas.

Generally if people do not have to make home immediately they would be willing to pay twice in installment for the plot than the otherwise huge lumsum payment. In this case if they are getting at equal amount its a great deal with installment option. Newer development and latest town planning has its own advantages.

Without on ground visit very difficult to tell about rate. Overall rates are minimum 6,50,000 Max 12,00,000. Future is good at present they are going slow in development.

Thanks for update. Could u please clarify as under;-
anonymity informed that the approved layout plan of the Jinnah Garden
Housing Society consisted of 800 plots but the Society expanded its area up to 1,500 plots without approval of the CDA.
He further informed that the Society was selling out plots without CDA’s NOC but the high officials of the Authority had closed eyes on this sheer violation of CDA laws. There are also complaints that the Society was also deceiving its allottees by allotting them plots other than they win in the balloting, the official said.
The Society is also giving advertisements in newspapers despite CDA’s ban on advertisement of illegal housing societies.

U r right they sold plots more than approved from CDA.
Society launched the extension and affiliation blocks without approval.
Almost all societies are doing this like
Bahria Phase -1 & 5 have No NOC.
Sawan Garden H Block has No NOC.
Jeddah Town Phase 1 has NOC and ownership of land but Jaddah Town Phase-2 has No NOC or clear land.
Only Six Societies in Zone-2 and Six in Zone-5 have NOC and they have complete possession of land others are in litigation.

If your plot in Jinnah Garden Phase - I. Price for 30x60 is Appox. PKR 600,000/- for corner plot. Good for long time investment atleast 7-10 Years. CDA declared Jinnah Garden is illegal status.

DHA phase 8 ballot results will be on line on April 8 on www.DHALahore.Org . Their website is down due to heavy traffic. Ballot results lists will be displayed in DHA office from April 8, 2010.

If any one want to know result he should SMS their NIC number and name on application or on their allocation file to 03224009967. I will check the plot number and SMS or email result back to you asap.

I dont know If am able to get ballot results and post them on line on here but I will check these list for you in DHA Lahore office and let you know your plot no.
