Whom to complain for Cabinet division Rawalpindi
Dear all,

6 weeks back ,I was in Islamabad and I was told by an official of cabinet divsion to give an application with account detials for refund of Rs 92K and they would kindly deposit cheque in my account.

I am chasing the concerned person but answer seems to be unsatisfactory.

Please give me phone contact of responsibile persons whom I can call from overseas as no response on land line.

it is wise to refund the money if you have only paid one installment of 92k because society has imposed a 20% surcharge when they going to apply for possession so they are going to pay 1 lac extra for development charges. file holders who have not paid development charges are not going to get any plot in the sector.

i have applied today for possession of my plot and society gave me a date of 15th may to get my allotment letter and possession.

Sorry, My question/Inquiry is not related to property But I Know This platform is always helpfull.I lost the original book for the motorbike i bought for my son during my visit to pakistan .It was transfered to my name.I need help/advise regarding the issue of duplicate book while i an abroad but my brother is in Lahore.Is this possible to send authority letter on my brothers name to get the duplicate book.I have all other document except the original log book (only photocopy).I dont know the current rules and the ways to do this so asking for your advise.Thanks

First of all Register FIR
Then some one go to post office with an application and copy of FIR, Post office will issue a letter showing that last token paid on dated--------- . After that contact excise department where motors are registered. Blood relation an pursue the case on your behalf if u give him authority o plain paper. For other persons authority letter duly attested by embassy will require.Before start obtain information from Lahore excise office. I am telling u about Islamabad.

Whatever Nadeem Sahib has said is perfectly fine for Lahore excise office.
The other and easy available option is to spend few hundred extra and get every thing done by an agent as registering an FIR with Police Offices, dealing with post office and finalizing with Excise office is a very difficult task for a common man.

ABR Sahib,
Intimation letter and mode of payment schedule will be issued to each winners of ballot by DHA by the end of this month. Definitely the first installment will be due by August/September. Moreover the installment amount for One Kanal plot is Rs. 420,000.

Dear Scary - looks like you are new in this business or you have lack of knowledge. For your information in DHA Lahore all phases have 2 marla commercial plots, usualy they are called sector shops. For sector shops, 2 marla is enough space to have a small scale business activity

What is your recommendation to keep 5 Mio rupees to get good return monthly and if needed some portion could be withdrawan without any penality.

Propery is long term even com. is not giving good return. To keep the money in Bank will give good return but may devalue in the long run.

Some people are suggesting to invest in any good mutual fund where capital will gain and dividend will be paid each year e.g. PPFL, JSVF, PIF,. Many banks and companies are offering mutual funds, but difficult to judge which one is ok. I came from abroad with 5 Mio and still could not find any good option from where monthly return could come. Someone told for NSS but I prefer to get profit on Islamic way. Some say BankIslami and some Meezan for the MAC scheme. I think we should also include this topic to share information and give suggestions to those who are looking venues for good investment. Financial people can give more details which may benefit to many others to follow.

This has been & remain focal poit espcially for expats who send money back home for investment & also who return home for good. A lot has been discussed over the Islamic/non-islamic earnings & quoted with quranic references at this forum & can be refered. Interest in any of its form is haram and is to be avoided. Try not to remain jobless; with your whatever experience get some job or start some business. Allah will help you prosper further if you choose the right path.

I agree with you but unfortunately no job for the person over 50 yrs. No business experience and to do business with any friend / partner is nothing except to damage the relations and loose the money. One of my friend (working in Sauids) put 1 Mio in carpet business with his very close friend in Lahore and his friend phoned him that the factory has been bankcrupt and need one more million to come out of it. He denied and decided not to give him more money and will not get his original 1 Mio. So the people who are from abroad have no exception except to put their hard earned money in the place from where they could get good return which is sure not the realestate. The left is then banks or investment companies. Many people are utilizing these services and getting profit, so we need their recommendations and how they are getting monthly profit by such schemes. They should clearly mention full details so that others could decide.
