Recently first connection of Sui Gas was installed in J block. Sui gas pipes are ready in all blocks and many people are about to get more demand notices within days.

4- I was checkin on website the rates are between 8.5 to 9 Lacs in it include development charges.

DHA Town in DHA Lahore phase 9 is a very good investment for short or long term as these plots are currently under development and be InshaAllah handed over for house construction in Dec 2012.

Yes absolutely correct advice. I have some sort of experience in my life. When I want to buy the dealer (i can not mention) said it is a very good investment. Now he is saying that it is not gud.

I have came to conclusion that if such type of siutaion arise, then please stick with your ivestment which has been done (exceptions are there)

Friends I would like to know the procedure of importing car from USA to Pakistan. As transfer of residence I think I can import Three years used car. Do I still need to pay the custom duties or customs duty is exempt if I am showing transfer of residence?

How much freight I have to pay? Since I want to import to Lahore does any body know any good car customs clearance agent?

What Documents do I need being an overseas Pakistani

from USA, used car duty is double compared to Asian market cars e.g Toyota camry 2007 left hand cost 57 lacs compared to new at 60 lacs in Pakistan market.not worth to import from USA.

You should try to stay closer to Golf course. Before DHA was going to build a 7 feet high sold brick boundary wall but now they have changed plan to give a beuaatiful view of golf course to all resident od DHA 6 by making a boundary wall of steel wire.

I was to say thanks from my heart to DHA for making a very good decision. Golf course view on DHA 6 side will add tons of beauty for entire DHA 6. I feel sorry for people that have plot in W or V because on that side a sold wall have to be built due to blocking of village Deera.

dear real estate pundits,
i have been hearing that there no "serious" buyers in the market but plot prices are still not moving down. any reasons? even if there is a serious and reasonable offer from potential buyer, seller wont accept. let me give you an example, i was offered a plot at 39 lacs (if i remember correctly) in dha-7 and i offered 36 lacs and it was declined. not even a counter offer :)
whats going on? in this depressed markets, seller are still asking alot more. any trending etc.?

prices in real estate are already low. b/w 36 & 39 is huge difference when market is depressed. I guess the little sale & purchase thats going on is based on low margins. Sellers generally are selling on loss and don't expect them to sell at even further 3 lacs below their asking price.

Thanks ali11. few days back I saw CMY giving rate update on DHA-6 file, no buyer and still at 36 lacs :), with 9 lacs it comes down to 45 lacs for the plot you dont know where you will get. if seller bought at peak and desperate to sell, you take the losses and move on (infact i did that). when you say already low, what benchmark are you using? comparing to high times is not right.

At present market is having thin trading only few deals this shows gap between sellers and buyers. At this time you need quite a good time and work to get a deal on correct price,
I bought a house at a reasonably good price but it took 9 months and 3 visits to Pakistan. But you need patience and good dealer.

A good debate after a very long time. Perhaps CMY would like to clarify what is the real situation. What kind of people are buying these days? are these investors looking for bargains/margin and will sell on a slight profit? or are these genuine home buyers. My guess is that currently whatever small buying/selling being done is by investors. Due to bad economy, the demand from people who wish to construct a house should be very little. But yes, people with Agri-based incomes and beneficiaries of corruption can also be present. Until and unless there is interest in property at global level, it is hard to believe that big money will flow to this sector.

I suggest Pedia Urologist in Lahore's Childern Hospital (Ferozpur Road). I foget the name of doctor as I had a minor operation for my kid at that hospital six or seven years ago. Its a public govt hospital and for sure they have very qualified experience doctors. Its my personal experience. It would be plus point if you know someone working there. An option could Ittifaq Hospital.

Sometime back someone on this site told the visitors that General Hospital on Ferozpur Road near DHA, Chungi has the best staff, equipment and treatment options for head and brain related injuries (and perhaps deseases too). Heard the same from some other sources, later on.

However, since in your case an infant child needs treatment, perhaps Children Hospital is best in your case. They may refer to another hospital (e.g. General Hospital) for specific diagnostics or specialized treatment.

sir you can get opinion of senior child specialist at cmh lahore,may be as second opinion.but you should keep in mind that some diseases donot respond to medicines immediately and may take longer time.if u r not satisfied go to your doctor again and discuss the case,you may have to pay the fees again.if still not satisfied get second opinion plz.

Dear Fellows,

I have 5 months baby boy, his head circumference is not according to his age.
We visited to child neurologist couple of weeks before, after C.T Scan he identified that there is brain shrinkage problem that’s why his head size is small.

He shared with us some very bad news regarding to child future.
We are very worried and disappointed.
