If Malik Riaz is serious in delivering the Awami Villas to his members, I think its high time for him to fulfills his promises with them. In view of the unpleasant remarks against a rich and big Realestate Tycoon like him, its not difficult at all for him to build and hand over the left over villas in coming six months time at Rawalpindi and in one year at Lahore.But if his intentions are not good and wants to play a foul game ,then it is very unfortunate for Malik Riaz by losing his credibility at this Great Forum.

I earnestly hope that some Brother in Pakistan will convey to Malik sb,the genuine grievances of his Honorable members of Bahria Town.

I do agree with Amjad and further add that Malik Riaz is a big Land Mafia in Pakistan. He has no sympathy with the poor people thatswhy he had collected billion of rupees on account of bloody shit of Awami Villas but even after laps of five years he didn't handover to all the members who deposited 100% amount. If any member delay in payment even for a day, Bahria Town charge penalty, whereas they delayed this project for years without any compensation. I personaly know such people who had invested thier entire property in Awami villas with the hope that they would get 5 marla house, but ...... Shame on you Mr. Riaz and Allah will ask you one day which is not so far.

Dear friends ... Do you think your catharsis here will change your situation? Why you people are living in fools' paradise? Why don't you guys take a practical step? Why don't you go to court or write to Chief Justice of Pakistan. You just spend your time on websites but are not ready to do some actual thing which in fact may turn to your favor.

God helps those who help themselves.

Hence all those are affected by either DHA or Bahria, get themselves united or even individually, go to courts, file their petitions. One after another...strengthen your cases.. provide the evidences... their promises to deliver in time... and also write to media.

If you don't have courage to do that all .. then stop crying like children ... better take valum5 tablets and have nice long sleep...

I dont Know you are holder of plot or Planning to buy here. But in near Future KEMC is dead investment.
KEMC is developed society which is located on Defence Road Near Kana Kacha Village, The Biggest Drain of Lahore Hadiara Drain Passes Through it. I dont know why this Road is called defense Road, it no where near DHA area. One reason may be it is near Hadiara sector.
This society is developed for some time, I cant comment on quality of development, Roads and Boundary Look OK, Still this area could not trigger any Construction or Population, As abundant Land is available in this area hence there is not much price appreciation. Look at [Khiabane Ameen where price is coming Donw fast] Another example is IEP or Engineer Town, which Could not get any significant Price appreciation at least in last 4 years.
I don't know the current status but previously most of Blocks were not Transferable to non doctors. This restriction also limits the price appreciation and Construction. There is no one living here or none of House is under construction.
Price of One Kanal average land is about 12 Lac Two Kanal could be found in about 22 lac. Sale and purchase is slow, society office is fining difficult to manage without revenue. Recently there was rumor that they are considering merger in DHA Rahber. My own estimation is this merger was only for difficulty in management.
I tried my best to figure out how reliable and secure is process to transfer but I Could not be satisfied. The society office remained close most of time.
If you are holder of Plot in KEMC and intend to make house in few years then I would advise you to switch to IEP which is better managed and just located at same place on Defence Road on opposite direction.
Just few days back I visited IEP where I found few Under constriction houses and price of average plot is still 17 Lac, I was planning to buy a plot in IEP but could not Finalize due to shortage of time.
Another similar option in Nasheman 2 which is next to UET, Society.

KEMC is a project laucnched in 1989 by then DR Ifthikar Ex prinicpal KEMC ,it is a very slow project and now it is developed but very poorly with no infra structure. They are trying to merge with DHA Rahbar which is also a dead project using DHA name. Prof Ifthikar is in his 80s still works with his son Dr Asif who holds a fake degree from Carribean and also look after the project. i will advice you to call at this no to get latest update; or talk to Dr Arif , he is also incharge of this project.
Sincere advice; do not try to sell your plot through him.trust me.

Help needed !

My friend's sister is having severe pain in the right leg.MRI has revealed that she has got disc lession on lower back (disc slip and pinching the nerves going to leg). They are from Tobatake Singh and want to consult some specialist / physician in Lahore.Probably it comes under orthopedic domain.I would be grafeful if someone could tell us some competent doctor, clinic or hospital.Thnaks

please see a neurologist or rheumatologist.

Dr tafazzul mahmud, ph# 7581048 is the best rheumatologist in pakistan and works in lahore.

I had same kind of pain, done MRI ,lab tests and nerve computrised video.
for me here they said its Sciatia pain is due to nerve pinch in between hip joint and disk which was treated by accupuncturist and I am all right now. you may look into it from this angle too, bcause at earlier stages canadian doctors also thought the same way but later on doctors did computerised nerve video inspection and advised physio theray and accupuncture.
try to find best lab. We got very intelligent and experienced doctors in Pakistan.Hope it may help

Dr. Ahsan Shamim (Orthopeadic) in Shaukat Khanum Hospital has a very good reputation in Lahore. Getting his appointment is difficult though. But do give it a try

Of course a doctor should be consulted to assess the severity of the problem. However keep in mind that surgeons are usually too quick to suggest surgery even when it could be avoided. Also most pain medications have long term side effects while some can even be addictive. They should be used as little as possible.

Majority of people with back pain find relief with stretching exercises. Basically the idea is to stretch the back by bending forward, backward and sideways WITHOUT OVERDOING IT. Yoga poses suitable for lower back pain are more effective than normal stretching. Initially it is very hard to do the exercises because the back is already hurting badly but if the patient is strong willed and persistent about it Yoga exercises do relieve back pain over several months. It is also very important to replace normal mattress with a thin sponge mattress no thicker than one inch. You can find tons of more information on this topic on the internet.

my mother has severe pain on the back /uper side of neck and doctr said that this is back bone pain /muhron ka dard. If any one can suggest a good and experienced doctor in Lahore I will be greatful.
