Update; DHA -Air Avneue Phase 8;
At present ,the plot holders with DHA transfer letters in DHA Air Avenue sector can get their plots transfers at DHA without possession or permession to start construction. the plot holders whose plots had been transfered at Air avenue office and all deposits are paid with DHA office , all transfers at DHA are stopped.
Good news The matter of conflict is in a serious stage to be settled because of personal efforts of corecommander Lahore and DHA managment, when the issue will be resolved Nobody knows.
May be 1 to 2 months . it is my sincere request to all plot holders in this sector to keep calling Uraban developers and DHA Secty office to build the pressure.if anybody has resources involve the media or tv channels .just dont wait for miracles .
Parkview ; The merger is at no stage ,some people are waiting for ballots ,some are waiting for transfers and some are waiting for allocation of plot locations.(TOTAL MESS) Again all plot holders who have invested millions are requested bring this all scnerio before News media. Today people living in rural areas can bring their issues everyday and here we all are sitting in Lahore and doing nothing other then asking CMY and posting remarks on this website. Just take the iniative . Dont sit and wait

DHA Homes Islamabad in DHA valley

Does anyone has information about DHA Homes Islamabad in DHA valley (DHAI-Phase2 ext)? How are these from investment point of view, future value and from living point? If you see its location from Google earth (image date Mar 15, 2010) they have not leveled the surface even where they are going to built DHA Home. If they are going to complete the project in further 1 and half year time then by Mar 15, 2010 atleast they should have leveled the area rather should have built roads/infrastructure in the area.

All are requested to put light on this.

High cost of construction

In the last 6 months the cost of construction has gone up about 30 to 40%.The cost of material like cement,iron,bricks have gone up , now the cost of daily simple laborer is Rs 500 perday,Mason Rs 800 perday plus. in view of this now it will be better to buy a built house then to build new. In Pakistan time has come when cost of plot is less then the cost of construction usually it used to be opposite.The prices of old house just building will go up sharply from Rs 300 to 400 per squarefoot to Rs 600 to 700 Per sqaure foot in Defence area. The average standard new construction is now Rs 1500 plus persquarefeet .Top finish is now Rs3000 per sqaurefoot.

I watched Kamran khan's program, one thing which clicked me was he said we are with the collaboration with DHA are engaged in developing project.and we'll complete in next four years. Now was he talking about "PHASE 9"?

Earlier some months back I heard that in block A,B,C,D in phase 9 the work has already been started, and DHA is in process of ballot, and will be handed over by the end of 2012.
