Future of Central Park Housing Scheme, Lahore
Dear All,
I need advice from all of you brothers. I have two plots in Central Park, one in G Block and one in D block. I am shocked to know that their market price as told by two/three property dearlers are not more than 7.5 lac.
Oh God, I have bought these plots in Year 2003 and its a very long period and prices of plots in Central Park are not improving. What the management doing. Why don't they complete development so that people who have trusted them can get good return of their hard earned money.
Brothers, I need advice that should I sell them or wait for some good when I can get reasonably good return of my investment.
I have not idea but it seems the FUTURE OF CENTRAL PARK IS NOT BRIGHT JUST BECAUSE OF BAD MANAGEMENT.

Few other positive reason
* Expected ring road just after central park.
* There is no well planned housing scheme in that area or on Ferozpur road. The last well planned and developed housing scheme on Ferozpur road is Pak Arab.
* Prices are much below than their current fair values. Also central park is now booking new plots on much higher rates, so it is expected that the prices will be increased at least upto their new prices.
* The access time from Kalma chowk is not more than 25 minutes. And the Ferozpur road is already double now.

Commercial files in dha 9 are not available yet. Only one kanal 8 and 5 marla plots are available in DHA Lahore phase 9.

Please note development work have been started in DHA Lahore 9-10 in block A only for millertery alloted 5 and 8 marla plots and delivery time for A block of DHA Lahore phase 9 is July 2012.

Lets hope these do the ballot of other blocks with next 1 or 2 years

Parkview files are like a race horse who has lost one too many times (DHA lying several times about the ballot) for anyone to be interested in it again. I have tried for parkview holders to get together via this forum but couldn't do so as my posts were deleted as LRE doesn't want to be part of any controversy and rightly so as they have stay in this pond and they cannot be enemies with the crocodile.

Feel free to write to me at and may be we can put our heads together along with a few other friends who have already been in touch with me to atleast ask DHA to give us a tentaive schedule and drop the unrealistic hike in the transfer fee.

Unless people repeatedly go to court for their rights, they shall remain suffering. This is not only for Park view but for other schemes as well. Hence, I shall urge all PV file holders to get united and file a petition in court. I think the LRE management should also not object on this post if someone seeks justice.

This is backwas that what we are listening from last 60 years. why those individuals are not making good deeds for the country. Thier philosphy is only pray and repent verbally which is munafaqat bigger sin than kufar. They should stop preaching those who preach are worst people and we are cursed people including myself. Is Property purchased and held by elderly parents in their own names with intend(NAYEETH) of giving it to their children and grand children exempt from paying Zakat @2.5%?
The elder persons are keeping the property in their own names for two reasons. ONE to remain secure and not to be looking towards AULAD's help in old age.And to avoid paying transfer fees.

For Abubaba, though I am not scholar, but will comment on your statement as "" Till the time the property remains on elderly parents and they are alive, then they are to pay the Zakat. So Till the time the said property is transfered on the name of children and grand children, the childrens are not to pay Zakat for the said property
