Can anybody please tell me what is the latest status of Jeff Heights and Boulevard Heights. I invested in both plaza in the LG shops but do not know what will happen in future and when will start the shops. Jeff Heights is almost complete but do not know why it is not being started while BH may take long time to complete.

I called several time to DHA Lahore, but no success to get proper answer. My call transfer to lot of persons, but nobody knows. Finally somebody told me to contact allotment section at extensions 223 and 603, but nobody picking the phone from these extension.

I hope they (DHA) will extend the date of 1st installment and membership fee payment at least one month. Without intimation letter, how we can pay?

Please give some update on this issue.

There is no time limit to file membership form for DHA 8 plots. But it must be filed before a transfer of any plot. Each plot nead separate memebership form and fee. Membrship form must be purachased from DHA for Rs 350. If you need help in filing these memeberhip form or pay installments Lahore Real Estate will assist you free of charge.


You can deposit moneyin form of cash in some approved banks located in front of DHA office but only after getting a cash payment voucher or plot installment or mmebership fee. This voucher is only issued to an authorized person that has a signed request for dues from you.

It is strongly suggested that you or your relative or friend make a demand draft or bank pay order for (DHA Lahore Phase 8 Plot No.....) and deposit it in DHA head office or send it via TCS etc to DHA office. In this case no authrization letter is needed fro you.

If you are late in filing membership form or dont pay installments in time dont worry too much about cancellation of your plot. To date I have not heard DHA canceling any persons plot for late payments or not filing memebership forms. You will be fined for all late payment of dues or installments and DHA never waive of the fines for civilians. So please make installment payment on time.

Dear CMY / LRE,

I have bought phase 9/10 file back in April 2008 on my brother's name as I am not living in Pakistan. I thought it would be easier for him to collect papers later on or doing any selling later on because he is based in Pakistan.
Few days ago I came to know that DHA sends a letter to any file buyer as confirmation of purchase. The problem is that we have not received any letter from DHA. My brother is also far from Lahore for few comming months. I am worried about the status of file transfer and wants to confirm it. Please tell me what are my option?
If you can check the status for me then it would be great and I would appreciate your help in this regard. I would pay whatever reasonable few you would charge me for this service. Please help me so that I can have my peace of mind back.

I forgot to mention that my brother did not even collect the documents whatever DHA give after 3 days of sign the file.

My brother only signed the file and paid the money to the previous owner as per DHA law. The previous owner also signed the file.

Please let me know as I am quite a bit worried about the situation. Appreciate your response and help in advance. Please don't worry about the fee as whatever you would charge me would be paid by bank transfer or express money or whatever way you like.

Please be assured DHA Lahore is one of the most safest place to have a transfer. On duty brigadier is in charge of DHA Lahore.

Nothing to worry in this case. Your brother could come to DHA even after 5 years and collect the letter. No one can sell this file again other than your brother himself.

You could send email to LRE at LRE786@gmail.com so we could confirm current owner. Please include file number and owner name so we could check from DHA who is current owner on that file number.

Buy a file in DHA Lahore Phase 9/10 and sleep over it. This is safest and best long term investment.

Somewhere between next 7 to 15 years it will hit 1 Crore mark. Sell it when it hits 1 Crore and switch to another long term and safest investment.

Once you buy swear to God that you will not sell it below 1 Crore and do not worry (repeat do not worry) about the short term market fluctuations. You can never make perfect decisions with perfect timing.

@ Muhammad Saad: In (say) 10 years 1 Crore will still have a lot more worth than 15 Lakh today even cosidering the food inflation.

Yes, 1 crore should worth more than 15 lacs plus transfer fees of today but the way people are talking about currency depreciation and security situation it looks that property in phase 9/10 would not go up to 1 crore in 10 years and even if it do then inflation and currency depreciation would be too much. This is what people say however I still don't care about them.

I like phase 9/10 and already own one file and I would buy another one or I would buy a plot in park view. Either one of two and I would not stop investing regardless of security situation or condition of country. Pakistan is my homeland and all my investment would go to Pakistan.

I agreed with LRE as DHA 9/10 proper is much better choice. Where we can buy 1 Kanal at 15 and lets say development charges are 12 still 27 lac for one Kanal. cheap and Very best location.

If we go for DHA EME then 38 lac plus unknown development let say 12 lac then it will be 50 lac for one Kanal on unknown location.

Please add the transfer fee and cvt etc in your price of 15 lac for DHA phase 9/10. Then there would be development charges which only Allah knows that how much would that be. No doubt though that phase 9/10 is very good both location and price wise. Park view also seems a good bet for people who want to construct house now.

@LRE. For confirmed booking how a person can be sure that their application is among the first 5000 application? Can you confirm whether the appljcation is among the first 5000 during application if a person apply through LRE? I am asking because I have an intension to do so provided the findings are positive which LRE / CMY would put forward about this society. There is no point in depositing 30% of money if later on you realised that you are not in first 5000 and they have considered your application for regular ballot. You would feel like an idiot as you would be giving 30% of price for something for which other people would be giving 10% only.
It is petty that DHA would hold your 30% even many days after the ballot although they know it from the beginning that you are not between those 5000. Why they want to make more money by keeping you in dark. A person would keep on thinking that he has confirm booking however after ballot he would realize that this is not the case. Why they do not return the money during application and things would have been much better.
