Yes there is a problem. I cannot view the site, other than by going to google and then clicking on discussion. The main page of the website does not open up. The server is really slow.

CMY should look into it. Many other peoples may not be able to view the website as there doesn't seem to be many posts lately.

All my life i lived outside pakistan....when ever i visit pakistan i expect some improvements.....over the phone people cry that things are getting expensive, no electricty, jobs, business, corrupt govt etc...esp in Karachi....no market/business/shops (except banks)opens before 12pm to 1pm afternoon and closes at 10pm unlike outside pakistan.....that means nation is lazy or have enough money to enjoy their lives?

Help needed - Canadian Immigration related query

Dear Forum fellows,

I applied for Canadian Immigration last year, recently received Medical examination request along with Right of Permanent Residence fee payment request. Canadian immigration office issued this on mid of october 2009 however i received it by normal post yesterday, which means have only seven days left :( I have got medical examination appointment for myself and wife for tomorrow and will be prepare draft for paying Right of Permanent Residence fee, so will courier everything with in 7 days maximum inshalah.

I have one question here, I got baby boy birth in last week of november 2009, for which i got birth certificated sorted and will be applying for his manual passport tomorrow as it can be collected same day, so i was thinking to send baby passport copy along with birth certificate, is it possible that i can pay his Right of permanent residence fee at this stage or shall i wait for canadian immigration office to provide me detail how to include dependents at this stage.

Is there any application form that i need to fill in order to include baby as dependent?

Please advice.

your best bet is to call the canadian immigration office in Canada. They will know the correct answers to yoru questions. Do not rely on others, as you may get wrong information.

One of my close relative is seeing the same issue. Unfortunately they did not inoform Canadian Immigration in timely manner and now little boy is still in Pakistan and rest of family in Canada.

Please try to sort it now otherwise later you will see a lot of issues. I will check with local lawyer here and update you later.

I faced similar situation about 4 yrs back. I was in britain when I applied for canadian immigration and by the time our immigration accepted I was blessed with a daughter. I had to send her details including her birth certificate, passport, pictures, application form and fees with my case number to immigration canada. I then end up getting acknowledgement for her and we travelled together.
Read your canadian immigration paper work where it says, where to write/respond if u'r circumstance change e.g. address change, birth of a child etc..
If u can try to avoid u'r arrival in winter as it can depress some considering the 'extreme weather'. Best time to arrive is in summer and by the time winter arrives, u will be all settled, inshallah.

On 6th Dec 2009, when i received the request for medical/Right Of permanent Residence Fee i drop a message to Canadian immigration office in London about time extension for submission of requested stuff, for which they replied and gave me time until end of Jan 2010.

On receiving their reply, i dropped another email to them in which i attached baby PP and Birth Certificate copy, and asked them about the procedure to be followed in order to include baby in our immigration application... I also informed them about our medical examination which i did soon after receiving their mail by post as i had limited time as per the letter i received...

On sending above request for including baby in our immigration application, following is the immigration office reply..

Dear Sir,

Thank you for the information.Please provide the following documents within 30 days in order to enable us to proceed further with the processing of your file:

$150 processing fee for your the baby
*
Passport sized photos x 2
*
Copy of passport & long form birth certificate. Although you provided these via email please also submit the copies via mail with the above items.

Upon receipt of the above documents I will send a medical form for the baby.

You need to let high comission know and apply for the baby and get him added onto your application. Submit the fees with the application asap. Should be able to download forms from their website
