when u purchased an affidavit file from market and goes for its transfer in your name, then first owner of that file submits its affidavit and other documents in DHA office for transfer. DHA office after checking of all the document issued an intimation letter to owner of file that now DHA is ready for its transfer of owner ship to new owner name. then old and new both owners go to DHA office to complete transfer procedure. After transfer procedure complete new owner will get the ALLOTMENT LETTER.

Because I heard that Bahria town issue "transfer intimation letter" only at the time of transfer but Allotment letter ll be given if you apply for possession?

There's lot of information on the net regarding Dubai's property market. Just Google it and you will come to know that it is highly NOT advisable to invest there as property prices are declining and will continue to drop in near future. Many people who moved investments there are stuck. Recently S&P and other agencies have issued warnings of another price drop that will continue for some time.

Dear Forum Friends,

I am in the UAE and wanted to send money from the UAE for the application for participation in the ballot. The bank information given on DHA Bahawalpur website gives account number, Swift code and IBAN number. Once I took this information to money exchange in the UAE they wanted branch code or name. I have tried calling their phone number + but cannot connect to it.

Your assistance in this regards will be highly appreciated.

Call at . IBAN numbers are given. You don't need branch code. Much easier way visit UBL branch in Dubai. They can transfer easily. Only apply in 2K plots.

DHA Bahawalpur needs receipt mentioned swift code. Internet receipt will not be accepted, as per my information. Commercial plots are very very very less in nos. Very rare chance that one can get, hence 2 kanal plots will more and more chances of success. Also front of 2 kanal plots will be canal and parks view which will give very good profit margin as compared to commercial. So try where one has more chances of success.

I will be grateful if you could tell me that even when the market is slow and there are so much taxes,will it be a prudent step to go for Dha bhawalpur ballot.I mean if some lucky one gets a plot in the ballot and he wants to get some profit ,will it be that easy after all those new taxes have been injected

Today I saw advertisement on TV. That is clear sign of not too many applicants. They didn't advertise 10 Marla & 1 Kanal plots. Now need to see if they extend application submission date or no. If they do then clear sign of market collapse.
