What is the procedure for taking file (Phase-9, 5 Marla) from DHA Office ? and how much amount has to be paid ?

Dear Sir,
Generally, once the deal get locked of buyer with seller at agreed terms and conditions, Buyer and Seller has to appear personally in the DHA Lahore Office before the authorized officer for the completion the transfer. Normally DHA Transfer Documentations takes 4 to 6 days.
Buyer has to pay all transfer cost and in case of any outstanding dues against property seller will clear/ pay before the transfer. The buyer will make pay order / demand draft favouring seller for full payment on transfer day. Total transfer fee for 5 Marla is Rs.44000/-

Phase 8 location is better then Phase 7. Both will likely to go up in few years.

Because of the location. Phase 8 is closer to ring road and faces the airport. Phase 7 is behind phase 6. That said, phase 7 has already been given possession in some blocks and construction will be starting soon. If you want to invest long term, phase 8 is better but if its short term, phase 7 may yield more.

We are building our house these days in DHA phase 5 one kanal. Total ground floor area is 2800 sq.ft and on that we needed around 7 to 8 ton of steel. So you can have the idea how much steel you will be needing for 1500 sq.ft.

I believe you mean to know the work of Kamil Khan Mumtaz. He is well known architect and if you wanted to know his artwork visit his project he has designed.

AssalamOalaiqum,

I am planning to get services from architect for designing map of 1Kanal house. With some quick survey i found out charges of around 250,000.00 Rs for finalizing map with Architect. This seems to me bit high or is this the current market value. Note this is in lahore.

It varies from architect to architect. Some may charge much more than this & some even around half of this.It also depends upon up to what extent is the detail of services that you expect from the architect.

You can get a good architect ranging 100 to 150 thousands. I got one @ 120 who provided all necessary design details.

Golden Days...you can open your own building material yard and if some money is left then it can be used for small house(i.e 5 marla) construction of new houses in near by society. There is good demand of honest building material supplier in all new developing societies.
