My Own experience is to get out with Modest loss is better than remaining Stuck for Decades. One of My Lucky Friend exited after seeing the development few months back. At least 3 of My Close friends working overseas are all having 2 plot each

Brother search for i15 in this forum. I have posted before about it too. We also home flat in cda i15 like you. We went to Islamabad and there is nothing happening there. They haven't even give the contract to anyone. Please get your refund from i15 an invest in some good property. I know it's not a good news but the soon u get your money the better off you will be. I got my money nearly 2 years ago and I am glad I did it as 2 years have passed and you are asking the same thing.

Get money from there and invest in Dha or something reputable. Cda is not worth it. Your money is just losing its value there.

The following is answer to a query from CDA by email about I-15 sector.

CDA, in August 2005 had launched Sector I-15. The project of infrastructure development was awarded to M/s. Al-Khan Construction Company after competitive bidding in March 2006 on turnkey basis. The contract of M/s. Al-Khan was terminated in April 2007 as contractor failed to achieve any progress at site.
CDA also invited International firms for presentation on construction of 8000 flats on modern technique of tunnel form technology and in result of these presentations, 03 firms were selected. After long negotiation and detailed discussions the proposal was shelved as the estimated cost of construction of flats with the technology was found to be more than 200% price offered to allottees.

Now due to economic difficulties, lack of required funds and to pass minimum current cost of construction to allottees, in consultation with Government of Pakistan, it was decided to invite private sector through International Competitive Bidding to develop sector I-15 including construction of flats on Design Build and Finance Basis.

In February 2010 the only bid received from M/s. China National Machinery & Equipment Import & Export Corporation (M/s. CMEC) was opened and scrutinized by the nominated bid evaluation committee. The bid received was on richer specifications and accordingly it was rejected. M/s. CMEC was also requested to rationalize their rate as per local environment. It is envisaged that after start of work on site, it would take 3 years thereafter to completed the flats. Meanwhile major road linking Sector I-14 & I-16 has been constructed. The road around the commercial area of sector also stands completed. Further the bridge works of this major road is also being undertaken. A bridge and approach road is under construction in Sector I-15 to provide a direct link to Sector I-16 through Sector I-15 which is expected to be completed by March 2012.

@Javed - please be advised that Air Avenue and Park View were merged with DHA Lahore around 3 years ago and there is no more Air Avenue or Park View. They are called DHA Lahore Phase 8 now and managed and controlled by DHA. Some people / property agents are using their old names just because of identification purposes only. It is as safe as to invest in these societies as any other phases of DHA Lahore.

The visit visa fees for Saudi Iqama holder for on arrival visa is AED 180/- to be paid at Dubai Airport or ON SHORE (don't know) and this visa is for one month only.

The best option for you to visit dubai is to get a tourist/visit visa before your travel to avoid any inconvenience.

Dear Ali,

You can get visa on arrival but the best way to check is to call your airline and ask them if they allow you to board without visa. If they allow, surely you'll get visa on arrival.

Yes Park View was Taken Over Bu DHA 4 ys Back and Now All transfers of Park View are taking Place in DHA main Office, Thiugh Infrastructure is same that was Laid down by Park View
Air avenue was taken over by DHA 3.5 ys Back but recently there is some rift between DHA and Urban developers and DHA is not transferring "at least some" Plots and houses, No body Knows what were the details of These agreements between DHA and these Housing societies
