Arrest Warrants issued for both Malik Riaz & Ali Riaz by ACC

Anti Corruption Court issues warrants against Malik Riaz

RAWALPINDI: An anti corruption court in Rawalpindi, headed by Justice Chaudhry Ameer Mohammad Khan, issued arrest warrants on Thursday against seven persons, including the former Bahria Town chief Malik Riaz and his son Ali Riaz, in a land fraud case, DawnNews reported.

All accused were absent from the hearing, earning the ire of and resulting in the issue of arrest warrants by the court.

The accused, against whom the warrants were issued include Malik Riaz, Ali Riaz, Muhammad Ashfaq, Melad Bibi, Iqbal Hussain Shah, Sheikh Sajid ur Rehman and Iqbal.

The next hearing has been scheduled for June 25 and the court has ordered all accused to appear for hearing.

Earlier in October 2011, an anti corruption court of Rawalpindi had issued arrest warrants for Malik Riaz and Ali Riaz after the anti corruption establishment (ACE) of Punjab submitted the evidence against the tycoon and his associates in an alleged fraud case registered in 2009 and involving 1,401 kanals of land near Rawat.

Malik Riaz himself is the complainant in four civil suits pertaining to land disputes pending in the courts of Rawalpindi and is facing 57 criminal and civil cases regarding land grabbing or company matters in the Lahore High Court Rawalpindi bench and in the sessions courts of Rawalpindi.

People might dont know about his projects approval.In Rawalpindi only his only phase 1 and 50% phase2 is only approved by RDA and all other phases from 3 to 9 are still not recognized by any development authority.He has his all in all authority to sell the land through such documents which are issued from his office and such paper work has no recognition in any government offices.Keeping all this in mind Punjab government has put ban on all registrations of land which comes under name of Bahria town.Even then huge construction is going on in his all projects and few high rise illegal building as also started on the bank of river sawan.

so no one is here to create hurdle in his boundary.Although large numbers of generals, secretaries, army officers, judges are living in his bahria town who know well about the laws of state but inside there they follow the laws of malik riaz. so it is just a minor case you people are looking but the day of his bad luck would start you would see more huge kind of corruption under his name.

NOBODY CAN HARM MALIK RIAZ SB. IN BAHRAI TOWN LAHORE SECTOR C, D, E, OVERSEAS, ORCHARD, AWAMI VILLAS ETC ARE ALL NOT APPROVED BY ANY REGULATORY AUTHORITY BUT SINCE HE GIVES BIG BRIBES ALL OF THESE ARE OK SO FAR. PROBLEMS MAY ARISE IN FUTURE BUT BY THEN MR RIAZ AND HIS SON WITH ALL FAMILY MEMBERS WILL RUN AWAY IN DUBAI OR UK.

This is a absolutely not correct. As far as Lahore Bahria Sector A, B and C are concerned, i have myself seen approvals from TMA Iqbal Town. For other projects, i have not researched therefore i am not aware.

Yes, im a plot holder in Bahria Town and yes i have seen the approvals myself. If you dont believe, dont buy or invest or sell, i really dont care. I just wanted to share the info i had, its not for anyone to believe or not or follow. The level of distrust in our society is so high that people start abusing before hearing anyone. Go and do whatever you like, i really dont care.

I agree with Info LDA is also a corrupt institution LDA has no right to demolish any building any where If the approval is problem LDA should approved its self and take thier charges which is the main cause of LDA approval. Now a days LDA facing finincial loss that is why it not going to complete Its so called LDA avenu one scheme, we are the victim of Lda one of my family member has 1500 kanal land adjecent to LDA avenue one by the cruel law of fringee Acquisition LDA tried to grabed the land but we take the matter in court where we got stay and still LDA is fighting for this land but in vain for lda. Lda with out having land in possession sold the land to the people is this not a cheating than you have no right to demolish other people property>LDA is a cruel and unjustice authority which is impose to us without no means. Lda its self is land graber and qabza group. Than it has no right to attack on best i con of pakistn bahria town. LDA avenue one cannot be completed in this century because LDA without having land sold it to the poor people and grabed their money.

I am a resident of Bahria Town and I see no panic here at all. Several houses and commercial buildings are under construction and in full swing. I am trying to buy a plot in Sector B for my brother and was hoping that prices will come down a bit but instead I have noticed that they are going up - slowly but surely. There is some down trend in files but not a major fall there too.

There is no load shedding in Bahria. There were a few power cuts - due to maintenance of generators - but now it is over and we are getting power 24/7. I am witness that power is being generated in Bahria power house.

Gents! I am neither a property dealer, nor an investor, nor a supporter of Malik Riaz's corruption. I am just a resident of a rented house in Bahria.

Rawalpindi: The Anti-corruption Court has issued arrest warrants for real estate tycoon Malik Riaz’s son Ali Riaz in a case regarding illegal transfer of 1350 kanals of land.

Special Judge Anti-corruption Ameer Chaudhry Khan issuing the arrest warrants for the seven accused, ordered to produce the accused before court on June 25.

Besides the real estate magnate’s son, six other accused include Muhammed Ashfaq, Milad Bibi, Iqbal Hussain Shah, Sheikh Sajidur Rehman and Iqbal.

There is no case warrant against Arsalan becasue MR did not file a case, he was just trying to pressurize the Chief Justice. MR does not have any documentary proof of Arsalan's involvement. Though Arsalan should be investigated by the FBR for sources of income.

If you call them they say the development will start soon in this or next month and how long it will take that is not confirm, and also they (DHA lahore) will start all the blocks together.
but i think this development will take time to complete.may be 2015 or 2016.

I had a plot in Gulmehar and Bahria also relocated me to Orchard. After many visits and long arguments, they gave my money back which i paid them 3 years ago minus membership fee. The same land they sold as Gardnia at more than double the price.

Is there any one ask Theikadar that why he is giving my money in bribe.

Mine was trasnfered to Orchard too from Gulmahar and i'm stuck with Orchard. I approached Malik Riaz last year through SSP islamabad and he promissed to give me the plot but it has not done yet. They are all corrupt.
