I would like to share my feeling about DHA Lahore. After visting DHA KARACHI, Islamabad and Lahore. I have no hesitation to say that DHA Lahore is the best among all DHAs in term of planning, land scapping and even Architecture of houses. I am not undermining any DHA but the praise of DHA Lahore is important to mention. In addition to that DHA Lahore Phase 6, 7 with Golf Course in teh centre is jewel in the crown of DHA Lahore. I would request site viewers to commnent on my post

The top elite of Islamabad buy and live in Islamabad and similarly there are better societies and places to live in Karachi, while in Lahore DHA stays NO,1 and taken lead on Gulberg and Model Town.

Yes i agree with kamal that model town is far far ahead than any society in pakistan including DHA. the MOdel town society was made in eighteenth century and has excellent planning in its build up. it has more than 500 kanal central park wjich i am sure no society in current era can allocate for park and its planning for location and construction of school colleges and commercial area are very simple and excellent. services and security and other issues are properly addressed. i am not resident of model town lahore but live near it and also have good idea of DHA. in my opinion Model town lahore is far better than DHA

Still the problem with DHA-6 Lahore is its access. If you come from bedian road then you have to cross very unpleasant area before reaching phase-6 and if you come from phase 1 Main Boulevard then it is very long distance and congested.
DHA Authorities should provide a separater proper access to phase 6 which would also serve phase 7 and 8

Dear All !!
After completetion of Ring Road , normal access to Broad way has been closed , even access to all Societies ( Like Park View, Air Avenue ) has been closed . Its red flag for all who invested millions of Rupees in DHA Broad Way Commercial with hope taht it will become Blue Area of Lahore having big commercials and shopping malls. Now the situation is this that one has to put lot of effort and tim eto reach to that Broad Ways.. Can any one throw light on it . I hope Mr. CMY must have some knowledge of it

Why punjab gov closing the Broadway from Airport, where the ring
road is in process. I think Shabaz Sharif and DHA are to seperate issue but there are million of people who invest their hard working money, DHA must take this case in court and get access to direct approch from Phase 8 Broadway to Airport. This is not a joke. Gov
always help the people and they lisren their problem but I am seeing here different, They are taking reveng from each others and killing
poor and middle class people. All DHA Phase 6 , 7 and 8 members should raise their voice against this problem. we need direct approch

Ring road is not made for investors in dha broadway. It's for all of Lahore. If they start giving access to every road or society touching ring road, then it will kill it's purpose of being an access controlled expressway. The interchanges are planned according to certain considerations. So investors in broadway should stop whining. Plus broadway will have direct connection to the interchange off ghazi road.

I agree to the Broadway comments. Broadway would not have any access issues, it is just that traffic for Phase 5, 6 and 7 would not pass through the Broadway since they will have a better alternate route.

CMY sahib is'nt there a direct approach from Ring road to Phase 8 from the Interchange being built on Ghazi Road near NETSOL. It lands directly in Phase 8. This is a big interchange.

JUJ there is a direct approach from DHA 8 interchange where a Ganda Nullah is running now. Also a ramp will connect it through a service road of ring road.

Like Fakher-ul-Hassan sahib said above please wait for interchange and part of ring road to see what happens. At this point there are many things going on there and hard to see what they are doing.

Can anyone guide me the rates of good quality following finishing material, which is better? where to buy from? & their tentative prices?

I am not sure about rates but I can suggest you about different available brands and options.

1. Good quality marble on floor will cost you more than Chinese tiles and other alternative tiles. Granite is even more expensive but quality and finish is awesome.

2. For Washroom tiles, there are many brands to choose from like Masters, Stile, Karam Ceramics etc. For sanitary fittings, Master is considered best in local brands. Also Sonex is good.

3. Wooden frames of high quality are very expensive. You can check interwood which makes very high quality doors and frames but that will cost you around 15-20,000 for each door approximately. For lesser price, you can check Dayar wood option which is also a good option.

4. For high quality door, Interwood is awesome but their price is even more awesome. There are many wood workshops which make good quality wooden doors at reasonable price. It all depends how much you can spend.

5. Aluminium depends on house look and exterior paint. usually people opt for dark brown, dark golden aluminium frames. Same goes for glasses and there are different grades available for glasses. More you spend better you have options.

6. Kitchen cabinets... Again if you are filthy rich, I would suggest interwood else any good carpenter can do a fine job with good quality wood.

7. Pakistan cables and English cables are best available local brands but prices have gone sky high and copper wires rolls are damn expensive now.

Junaid bhai I have no idea when any ballot of any allocation file will be held. Guess work have been proven wrong too many times.

Please call the official DHA Lahore office number to know when they plan to hold the ballot.

To tell you honestly, any thing is acceptable in 5lacs. You cant buy dirt for that price. Here you get some kind of dwelling in this amount.We can whine about it any way.I always felt and feel it even now that this investment is highly under valued. I will welcome flat or villa, whatever it is.

I do not know who if any delivers on promise,the government, individual Pakistani Bhaiss,or any part of the society. We see the 'tinka' in others eyes but do not see the 'shateer' in our own.

Sir, July 10th is too late for these investments. I think you should act today and complete your transaction till Monday. It doesn't take more than a day from anywhere now a days to transfer money. DHA 5 ext is best if you can afford and risk free.
