Aman Ki Asha is a slogan of Pakistani and Indian people. I have lived a longer life and feel that we could have been much happier people if we could exist as good neighbours respecting each other rights and obligations.

visitor replied on Friday, July 30, 2010 12:36 PM PST

indian dont worry about dam please make some toilet latreen in your country because people still not have this faciliy.

Another Indian replied on Friday, July 30, 2010 01:31 PM PST

At least I am very happy. It is good if pakistanis keep differences and do not agree on national important projects like kalabagh and Basha. This is in our interest and pakistan will never come up to the pace of us. Barvo pakistanis

Proud Pakistani replied on Friday, July 30, 2010 01:53 PM PST

Funny Indian :-) Relax, we do NOT hate Indians and our water problems are just that; our problem. Instead watch this video and remove the hate in your heart. We are no different.

ASK replied on Friday, July 30, 2010 03:06 PM PST

I am sorry to say but this is our way of thinking which never let's us progress. We shoudl always find the good things in others and try to follow it, whereas all we do is make fun of people and find bad things about them through mud on them and then feel happy about it that if we cannot get better they are even worse or that we have made them even worse.

The whole world is laughing at us due to this mindset of ours. When we talk to America they say it is your DEMOCRATIC GOVT. who is working with us YOU elected them.

I remember I saw an Interview by Madeline Albright when she was in the US Govt and visited Pakistan and India. She was asked what difference did you find in Pakistan and India her answer and I quote.

"In India people talk about business, development, partnership, technology transfer etc etc. In Pakistan people talk about Kashmir Kashmir and Kashmir.

We are making a fool of ourselves and the World is enjoying.

Ali Mustafa Saudi Arabia replied on Friday, July 30, 2010 03:54 PM PST

Surprised what kind of progress or debate around business, development etc. we are referring to when these so called civilised and developed nations including that of Albright have waged war on Pakistan and had badly disturbed this entire region for the last over 30 years and infact even beyond that. Who inherited us with Kashmir and Palestine disputes, none else but UK claiming themselves one of the owners of the world. Kashimr is life line for Pakistan why not to talk about. Its pitty we feel honoured by referring to the sayings of person like Albright, Cameron, Obama etc. those are primarily responsible for for most of the critical issues all over the world including Pakistan. Can Albright explain who is merchant of weapons and infact provider of means to have deadly wars amongst nations? They are simply killers and we are fools living in their paradise and feel proud of being intellectuals immensly influenced by their vested education system and media campaigns. Why we have forgotton our personalities and heros, Muhammad (PBUH), Abubakar, Umar,Usman, Ali, Jinnah, Iqbal and lot others the world admired a lot and learnt from a great deal. No doubt its tough time for us in Pakistan, we will withstand through uncompromised faith, nothing but undivided faith in ALLAH, in ourselves, in our fighting spirit and with our hard work, and tomorrow will be ours. Rest assured we wont be laughing at that time, rather would be doing justice as Umar did and our heros like Salahuddin Ayoubi demonestrated in 3rd Crusade.

Visitor replied on Friday, July 30, 2010 05:21 PM PST

Dear "ASK" If Pakistan take over an indian territory by force or hoodwink, will India keep talking about business, development, partnership, technology transfer etc etc......

Proud Pakistani replied on Friday, July 30, 2010 07:39 PM PST

All Indians,

I live in US and all my CLOSEST friends are Indians. Just a proof that deep inside we care about each other. No need for civilians of both nations to hate each other; don't follow those criminal politicians.

ASK replied on Friday, July 30, 2010 07:43 PM PST

Dear Ali Bhai,

You are saying exactly the same thing what I was saying.
quote" we are fools living in their paradise and feel proud of being intellectuals immensly influenced by their vested education system and media campaigns."unquote.

We call ourselves followers of leaders like Hazrat Muhammad(PBUH), Abubakar, Usman, Ali and Jinnah. Did they teach us to rig elections, To supress the poor, To forge degrees, To feel proud in using and showing your influence and power, To do corruption in every field, To send our children to study in the West and sit at home and criticize them. The list goes on... OR Did America and UK teach us to do that ? No neither we are doing this to ourselves. If we were honest and determined and not self centred and thought about the bigger good of the nation instead of filling our own pockets problems like Kashmir would not even be there. Such problems are there because we have traitors amongst us. Of course others will take advantage of that. Why would they not.

Ali Mustafa replied on Friday, July 30, 2010 11:56 PM PST

Thanks for the thoughts.

Would like to take this opportunity to further explain that they always influence the big picture for instance they left Kashmir as a bone of contention for their vested interest like buying of weapons by these nations instead of spending the same on their poor masses. Strongly believe that there were no immoral issues with our leadership fighting for our independence even then Kashmir issue was creadted by design. Just look at the map of the world around World War I and II and see how they have remapped the whole world. They are running UNO, they have majority of veto powers although they claim that they are democratic, they can arrange any resolution allowing them to attack any country of the world any time. This list goes on……. We need to see the bigger picture as they are doing for centuries.

There is no room for unethical practices in our religion, and our personalities have set out the examples of justice and higher moral standards. This warrant us to strictly follow our religion and our role models to fix these shortcomings. Strongly believe that the generation like ours can afford investing time in understanding the global geo political landscape instead of investing significant time discussing soccer leagues while sitting in caffes and drinking coffee and eating choclates etc.

I am living in Saudi Arabia for the last 12 years. I feel extremely proud that we have an independent country Pakistan which is a nuclear power and this fact keeps on eating "Indians" day by day.

Indians irrespective of religion are verry cunning towards Pakistan. This "Amam ki Asha" is just a bullshit.

I have no soft corner for India or Indians.

ddd replied on Saturday, July 31, 2010 04:21 PM PST

dear all

if we hate indians or indians hate us,this is what usa and europeans wants from these two nations, when pak/ind seprated they created that issue of kashmir so we two nations alwyas keep on fighting, and they could sold their weapons and nuclear techonology,.

very sorry to say our politicians both pak/ind are depending on usa and europeans to degrade each others, instead of solving theirs issues themselves.

MAS replied on Saturday, July 31, 2010 11:11 PM PST

Mr. Khan from Saudi Arabia I feel proud the same way you do but can you please explain exactly how are the Indian MUSLIMS "cunning" towards Pakistan? What significant role do they have in the Indian government and what have they done to Pakistan?

From what I understand the Indian Muslims paid the price by becoming a smaller minority in India due to the creation of our beloved country and despite that they have a soft corner for Pakistan. Indian Muslims are accused in India of having a "P" written on their hearts. I don't know of a single Indian Muslim who is not happy about Pakistan's nuclear status.

Being the big Islamic State created in the name of South Asian Muslims what have we ever done for Indian Muslims? Least we can do is not accuse them.

I presume it would be good investment. But running business dose not attract me. As the counter would be for artificial jewelry or for small ladies articles type things.
However buying shop seems good 
Please also check the option of buying Shop in Panorama Ext. II.

Definition of Investor

I am a student of Lahore RE. Off and on i have heard folks bemoan that most of the plots in DHA (6, 7, 9/10, 8 etc) etc are owned by investors as opposed to those who want to build a house in the near term. I am curious to understand what people think is an investor. Someone who simply owns one or two plots or something more substantial. Surely, there may be people who own 20-30 plots, but that should be uncommon I would think.

Pendalum replied on Thursday, July 29, 2010 04:32 AM PST

Investor is the guy who ran off due to Asif bhai. He might come back if Imran bhai sits on the chair.

Habib replied on Thursday, July 29, 2010 12:57 PM PST

Same was said about DHA 5 but now we see lots of houses there, DHA 7 will not get construction boost till we see good number of houses in DHA 6, Next year will tell about this as practically DHA 6,7 are same phase. In DHA Houses are started by Builders usually and consumers follow.
Regarding DHA 8 I dont think that will be handed over eariler than 2015. At that time it will be only vacant area surrounded by DHA 6 and Air avenue and Parkview on other side,. So it will be populated soon after.

sleepless replied on Thursday, July 29, 2010 01:10 PM PST

An investor would be somebody who has excess liquidity and has bought land/plots with no actual intention of ever constructing a house or livng there. His basic purpose is to wait and off-load his assets when he gets a higher market price i.e. he earns substantial profit though this is not necessary.
