I due to some compulsion want to dispose off my 500 Sq Yds plot located in F-16/4 Sector. The development work of the area has recently been initiated by the society and F-16/4 sector happens to be the first sub-sector where development work will be completed. Cost of plot is Rs 6,75,000/= and total of 10 development installments will have to be paid. I have so far deposited one installment only. The total amount that I am looking for Rs 6,75,000 + Rs 50,000 (one inst of dev charges) + Rs 4.5 lacs "On" money. I must inform that I paid Rs 8 lacs "On" but then times have changed.

I really do not know what will be the profit by the time the development work will be completed but if you account for today's profit then the cost of the plot will be 6,75,000+5,00,000+4,50,000= 16,25,000/= (i.e. cost of land, development cost, profit respectively). But let me tell you that by the time the development would be over, the new Islamabad airport would also be functional and the F-16 sector lies right on the Fateh jang road that would also lead to new Islamabad airport. Doubtlessly the profit by then would be tremendously high. I would have never disposed off the plot at so low profit margin and that too in todays' market sentiments but then I have some compulsion that is forcing me to dispose off the plot.

Well Wisher, You may please know that before posting my ad, I had asked at least four property dealers about buying rate of a plot in F-16/4 sub sector and the ON money that they mentioned, I have quoted the same very one. But you may kindly know that the rates of F-16/1,2, & 3 are definitely on lower side than F-16/4 sub sector as whatever development work has been done, it is in same very sub sector. If you think that my demand was on higher side, then you please quote the price that you think is appropriate.

Dear Mr. Iqbal,

In my opinion it is the time now to invest only in Bank Islami to get halal profit every month and stay with peace. The property is no more giving good return on the investment. The people who are back from abroad are not able to start any business in Pakistan. So they have best option to put cash in Bank Islami which is not sood as it is not fixed according to some Muftis. Otherwise, people with good knowledge can further guide you.

But who is authenticating that bank Islami is a real “Islamic Product”?
Here in Gulf, Islamic bank will give you shares upon your loan request and it is up to your fate, whether you lose or gain in stock exchange when you sell for cash, as this was the main purpose you went to the bank.
In Pakistan, does it work similar? I doubt!!!

Talking about investment! No one can predict the Pakistan property in near future as it all depends now how USA exits from Afghanistan!
The post America exit situation will set investment bench marking in Pakistan property and also in corporate sector. No body knows about capital shift in that situation. Stock exchange could bring down property market or the opposite!
One thing for sure now that property will continue towards correction, which is definitely happening now!!
After USA exit, money might shift to industry as, in Pakistan history, we never had Judiciary, Army and Press all on right track and THAT could make a lot of difference, if it gets coupled with the “sustained democracy”, no matter how poor in running the contry, as it would be a " begining of a right start"

The literal meaning of interest or Al-RIBA as it is used in the Arabic language means to excess or increase. In the Islamic terminology interest means effortless profit or that profit which comes free from compensation or that extra earning obtained that is free of exchange

Also remember

Surah Al-baqarah verse no.275

"Those who devour usury will not stand except as stands one whom the Satan by his touch has driven to madness. That is because they say, "trade is like usury", but Allah has permitted trade and has forbidden usury",

Surah Aal-Imran, verse no.130 Allah says,

"Oh you who believe! Devour not usury doubled and multiplied; but fear Allah that you may prosper."

Hazrat Jabir radiyallahu anhu has reported that the Messenger of Allah sallallahu alaihe wasallm cursed the devourer of usury, its payer, its scribe and its two witnesses. He also said that they were equal (in sin). (Sahih Muslim)

Now you can be judge to see if these so called islamic banks really provide RIBA free products.

Remember everybody is responsible for their own actions in this world and hereafter. So choose carefully what you do with your HALAAL Rizq.

Note: I am not giving fatwa nor can I do that, I am just leveraging some knowledge which can help to make right decision.

Due to need of faster computers and faster internet connection and need of lot of input from me and my staff i am double minded about working on this new page. Please let me know is this new page helpful to you or not. Is it slowing down your computer too much or you are ok with it. Are features easy to use or they are not so easy to use.

When I thought bout this page I wanted to give you ONE page access for every thing bird eye view of plots and thier general rates maps pictures prices discussion rates update so you are not lost in my all web pages and and find every thing on on single page. I think page is cool but its taking too much computing power and bandwidth and may be not useful for all other friends with older computers. May be it will be good for friends with new computers and DSL internet but I think I am too ahead in this race for giving this service to all friends. Should I put more energy time and money into it or should I wait for a while and then upload all other date I have for all schemes like aligned maps pictures plots discussion etc.

Your honest opinion will be helpful for me to either keep working on this baby or stop it and take some rest :)

Good option but most users in Pakistan are still accessing web via dial up probably not a good page to access. It's ok for overseas users because majority have broadband/DSL.

I would appreciate if you could a column mentioning plot angle/direction (i.e. south, north, east, and west).

I tried to open the website but I was not able to load the required information. Hence, I feel the present format is much better and keep it updated regularly. You are already doing a great job for the benefit of people especially for overseas Pakistanis. Keep it up and we wish you success in your endeavours to keep abreast of users of your website. I am accessing this Page from UAE I think it is wonderful Option, Before I has to do it my self Matching Maps and Google earth Images and it was time Consuming. And I am sure not many viewers are expert in this Navigation, But your new effort made this very easy. Seeing abroad we dont have problem of Bandwidth or Computer capabilities.
I would strongly recommend it.

Some of your (potential) customers are abroad and some of others have at least their source of income abroad. With DSL, commonly available in developed countries, downloading time is not an issue at all. If people with slow networks cannot use it, they should not. Their slow networks cannot be a reason to deprive others from accessing an excellent page.

I remember the days when befor getting to know LRE, I would be making calls to Pakistan to find out (unreliable) rates of plots. To get maps was out of question.
Now, you have made us access all rates/ maps on daily basis.
Kindly include this google link on permanent basis on your home page and please update it whenever you have time to do so.

It is a great work and you must have done lot of hard work for that. I think, it will be very useful option for users. You are right its maintenance and keeping it updated might take significant resources, and it may not be fruitful at this stage but probably you can look to automate that further to reduce the burdon on resources. You definitley understand this better.

I also think you probably are right about Bandwidth and Computing power consumption. I observed slight performance impact on Dualcore machine ~1.5GHz with 1GB Ram but the impact on Quadcore 2.4 GHz with 8GM ram was almost none.

My feedback is: I liked it so much and my vote is to bring it on!! Really good information to the folks sitting outside the country. In the country people can go a nd visit the site, by google map atleast we can see the place and some cases how far it is from other societiies etc...

I love it and vote to keep it even with minimum updates.

Also there should be an option to see the layout map with plots number etc..

Raja sahib option to see maps with plot number is already available. scroll to bottom of page and select either blocks maps for slower connections or full maps for faster internet.
