My sincere suggestion for this investment might look comic but that's is matchless. Just open a branch of some renowned school. You can easily raise funds for 2-3 kis's Oxford education. Rather, you can send chartered plane for Oxford teachers to teach your children over here in Pakistan. Sorry if my suggestion hearts anyone.

@Sherry, 50 LAC is already a handsome amount and more than enough to afford higher education in pakistan. Even if you self-finance MBBS, which is most expensive education in Pakistan the cost is still lesser than 50 lacs.

Can you share what education plans you have for kids. How much return you are expecting after 5 years. Answers can be given according to that.

You need to consider a few things.

1) How much money you need in 5 years for kids education? For example if you need 64 lacs to 70 lacs by the end of 5 years, then you should look at fixed deposits such as national savings certificates or if you need to go with Islamic banking look into their products.
2) Are these the only funds that you have for kids education? If these are the only funds that you have for education, then invest them wisely and in a low-risk option and not in the real estate at this moment.
3) If you are using mental accounts for different needs you might not be evaluating your risk and return trade-offs effectively. You need to look at your total portfolio and then decide what risks are you prepared to take. If your portfolio is much larger, then you can assume some additional risk in products that might have a higher potential for profit without risking yous kids education.
4) If 50 lacs is all you have and you need a large amount such as 100 lacs; then adjust your goals and expectations and look for more affordable higher education that you can easily pay for in 70 lacs.

Most likely they will be facing inwards and not towards the broadway.
You need to confirm it from DHA planning department.

As asked many times it is strong desire for phase 8 plot holders who are abroad and request LRE to please share video just like Iv Green showing development update DHA Lahore phase 8 in sectors T,U,V and W through Broadway road. Please spare 15-20 min and share video of each of the above mentioned block for better understanding of your overseas clients.

I must be towards the broadwy because of the following reasons;
1) There is a service road alongwith broadway.
2) In V block big graveyard, facing graveyard does not sound good if you have two sides open !
3) X and W both blocks of phase 8 have face towards main boulevard phase 6.
4) Broadway moving straight towards phase 6/7 Golf course also have houses faces towards main road
so no logic for the broadway houses to face inside.

I am sorry, if you are not updated with the price trends, kindly note price was 28 before 1 and half years ago...topped 45 in May and fell from 45 to 37.5 in July due to recent tax and delay in launch...now its gearing up again... today 39.5 as the launch is in January InshaAllah....

Lets put aside the emotionalism and do the simple maths. Why DHA so far have not been launched?
My reason, calculation and information tells me only one thing. DHA does not have the required pool of land. Also my calculation tells me, they will not be able to reach this level in coming few months.
If this is logical and have some grain of salt then why DHA is alluding informally of launch month. Only one reason is behind that December is big buy out time for overseas investors. This swing comes once a year and in case DHA fails to benefit this swing then it will further delay the launch.
So in coming days this news will be well spread about launch of January or February and innocent folks will rush to buy for quick gains. This is will tarnish DHA Multan's image in long term which is a good invest for longer period.
