Dear Members,
Please dont be panic try to think positively.
Dont take any selling pressure just relax and applt wait and see policy.
I can explain in one sentence that there would be no harm in property all over the Pakistan because of "CPAK and General Rahil Shareef" in future there would be big investment to the country. Inshallah
So hope for the best

mustansir replied on Friday, September 2, 2016 07:12 PM PST

I agree with Ali Sb. some people are deliberately creating panic.
Whenever u sell buyers are available it means market is normal.

@Mhaq, declaring assests were mandatory before as well its not a new law implemented in this budget. It was Govt's fault to allowing people to transact on dc rates, still majority will be file return and will not declare assest. not every one is puschasing with black money. Mayday Mayday Mayday

Both Bahawalpur & Multan flights are signalling for crash landing. Multan file is being traded from 38 to 40. Bahawalpur at 31. Lahore flight is going on smoothly but descending  due to less fuel. Passengers are requested to fasten their seat belts.

RAPak® replied on Friday, September 2, 2016 03:23 PM PST

GUJRANWALA AIRPORT IS STILL CLOSEED FOR OPERATION DUE TO LESS PASSENGERS.

More bad news to come accept for a v few projects, distress selling will start soon

Usama Javed® replied on Friday, September 2, 2016 04:11 PM PST

Lahore Market will remain stable Don't worry. Fuel is over flowing in lahore flight, people just waiting for each other to un-latch the door first.

anticipation@ replied on Friday, September 2, 2016 04:14 PM PST

Now the real question is what is the bottom point for the settlement of
prices. Will they reverse to the level where they were in Sep-2015?
As per my view, the prices will correct the half way down.

For example, if DHA Multan file was being sold at 28 in Sep-2015 and is at 40 now, it will eventually settle somewhere at (28+40)/2=34 lac.
Similar trend will be seen for DHA Bahawalpur and Gujranwala. The prices will remain stable at these points for quite a long time as people will have another 'option' in the form of DHA 10 in near future at a price of 45-50 per kanal!!!!

Jameel Mughal® replied on Friday, September 2, 2016 05:24 PM PST

Looks Likely it will Bottom at 34 and will stay there for sometime. For Slump hunters any price below 35 is good buy

Laiq Ur Rehman® replied on Friday, September 2, 2016 09:06 PM PST

All of those who were against Multan and Bahawalpur, finally got a chance to shout about. :)

Jameel Mughal® replied on Friday, September 2, 2016 10:40 PM PST

Liaq, instead of getting upset it is learning point for you. All those investments which are long term see sunny and rainy days. That is why commentators can so predictably foresee. Taxes, 2005 earth Quake 9/11 XYZ are just Coincidences for people to chat about.

Laiq Ur Rehman® replied on Saturday, September 3, 2016 01:06 AM PST

James bhai. Neither I am upset nor worried. I cannot predict future but for now Alhumdulillah I can hold my investment for long term. In fact that was my intention. We (a group of expats) can hold it. But please don't mind me, you were never positive about
DHA Multan. I have been reading your posts about it when it was at 43.

But I am totally open to everyone's opinions. It's your right. And I just used my right to express what I felt. Not in madness or anger.

MIGHT BE OF INTEREST FOR OIL AND GAS PEOPLE

ADNOC issued MEMO for LAY OFF PLAN COMING IN FEW DAYS:

ADCO : 750
NDC : 150
ADMA : 550
NPCC : 250
ZADCO: FIGURE around 200 not confirmed

ADMA / ZADCO ist merger meeting next week.

User_G7722® replied on Friday, September 2, 2016 12:36 AM PST

Sad, very sad, very much sad.
- Saudi already did this & still continue
- Qatar already did this & still continue
- Kuwait also did their part of lay-offs
- Now UAE heading for big lay-off.

Sad part is that these guys will not get anything back in country - no social security, no pension, no employment. Sad.

Nadeem replied on Friday, September 2, 2016 12:46 AM PST

ADNOC already terminated 5000. This is new list. Contractors linked to oil business are terminating also.

Jawad Rizvi replied on Friday, September 2, 2016 03:04 AM PST

Not companies are only laying off employees but to those who they want to retain, the companies are either increasing their on duty days by deducting off duty days or they are exploiting the employees to work with 20%-40% less salary. One the other hand if we analyze, this is the golden period for the main operator companies to get their wells drilled in less cost and may make the reserved well operative once the oil crisis is over so they can earn handsome profit.

User_9325® replied on Friday, September 2, 2016 03:23 AM PST

oil will not bounce back. it will hover around 50 dollars. the two biggest consumers of oil China and US have become exporters. plus Iranian oil coming into market with Opec not reducing output to mainatin market share will now keep oil at this level Insha Allah which is good for pakistan as we are consumers

Nadim replied on Friday, September 2, 2016 12:58 PM PST

The reasons that cause oil
prices down still there e.g. regional turmoil & oil export from Iraq on black market rates, Iran vs KSA tension etc. Last but not the least world is moving towards renewable energy. Investors started to invest in that sector. One of example is Rockefeller family who pulled all shares out from oil companies and invested in that sector. Pakistan's property is strongly linked with ME countries. Majority of Pakistanies work there. ADNOC generate 70% wealth of UAE. 99% companies in Abu Dhabi are doing business with ADNOC. Same case with ARAMCO that is country within country. Remittance will fall further this year. Conditions are tough, I strongly advise hold your cash & wait further before buying property. Prices will fall.

RAPak® replied on Friday, September 2, 2016 03:19 PM PST

Same in Oman,
There are four international companies. All four have deducted employees salaries from 5% to 25%.
And employees termination is also still under consideration, If PDO will not release the projects.

Nabeel® replied on Saturday, September 3, 2016 03:08 PM PST

The current oil scenario will become a permanent reality and a new paradigm shift, until and unless new demand is created somehow or all producers agree to cut production. Saudi attempts to take out US production have not had the success that they planned.

I am foreseeing q continuing very bloody next 12 to 18 months at the very least.

i wonder why ppl believe on Bahria Town inspite of their over booking

AOA dear all

I have been working as investor since last 15 years and was quite satisfied as i was playing safely. I was avoiding Bahria Town for its reputation of over booking. i wonder why ppl believe on Bahria Town inspite of their over booking and i have seen number of ppl who poured their whole life saving in Bahria Town files and then all were wasted in Phase-9, Rawalpindi, Green Valley Lahore etc etc.

Now we have to invest some of our combine family income and my brother insisted me to invest in Bahria Town Karachi 05 Marla file and i had no choice but to obey as a brother.

Now i feel i would not get any plot in Bahria Town Karachi because of their over booking in thousands and i still wonder why ppl believe on Bahria Town inspite of their over booking and bad reputation.

May Allah help us

A very important information required please.

What is the approximate rate of 5 qilla 125 kanal approximately near Kamoke. It is agricultural land.

It is very important for me as I cant even find any dealers or rates on zameen website either. Any expert in this regard kindly comment.

Maybe Ahmad Hassan sahab especially, I think he is an expert in such matters. Anyone else also comment.
